Sure there were a bunch of good games for it. Can't think of any TAS-ables right now but here's a tribute I did a while ago: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=k8iNPRBeF9s&feature=PlayList&p=E7FAF0976BDA9C14&index=1 Just forward to 0:50ish.

There's one, but it's just levels from the NES games cobbled together. The graphics are a little nicer because of additional colors, but the music sounds a lot worse despite having some extra flourishes. It might be worth doing a Hard Mode run, though, because the bosses are so hyper in that mode it's ridiculous.

Sonic Drift 2(or possibly the first) Sonic Labyrinth(even though a lot of people said it bombed) I'd like to see runs of those. Especially Sonic Labyrinth, cause it's a lot like Sonic 3D.

Sonic Drift 2 (and possibly the first) do not run in Dega. They work properly up until you actually begin a race, and then simply freeze.

Sonic Drift 2 didn't freeze when I tried it, but it seems to have issues with drawing objects in the right places. I like the red Amy, though!

Just one question. There is a game where you play Rock, Paper, Scissors at each bosses, or something, don't remember the name of that game. Anyway it was the only game I ever played on a real Master System.

You are most probably referring to Alex Kidd in Miracle World which I intend to work on as soon as I gain motivation to TAS again.

In the Wake of the Vampire is GG exclusive.

So is Dega suppose to work with some/all/any GG roms? SFII Haja does not work. Game crashes when you press start at the title screen.

It should theoretically work with GG roms, but I've had many that don't.

I did a TAS of that in 495478 frames a few months ago. That should be about 2h 17 min and 38s. Half of that time is spent fighting monsters, haha.

About SMS games which may be suitable for TAS. How about 'The Flash'? Very fast-paced game, afair. And also SMS-exclusive as well.

I'd like to see Ghouls 'n' Ghosts. The power up system in this SMS version is completely different from other ones. Some bosses are really annoying to beat and I wonder how this could be played without savestates.

Shinobi, for the Game Gear, is a fairly fun game. There's five different ninjas with different weapons and abilities (e.g. pink ninja throws bombs and can walk on the ceiling; blue ninja has a grappling hook; green ninja throws shurikens and can double-jump). The bossfights are liable to be a bit slow but I think it'd be a good game to run anyway. The last level is a maze that requires showing off each of the ninja's abilities, including a lot of tricky jumps that'd be cool to do at TAS level.

As much as I love the Game Gear, I should remember you that Dega has been declared inaccurate in that regard, by using 9-bit color instead of 12-bit color. It might be more or less noticeable according to the specific game, though. While most of the Master System ports don't make use of the extended palette, most of the Game Gear only games do. Also the mmv format "needs" (lol) a new flag which will be set to 1 if the emulator decides to start in Game Gear mode by looking at the rom extension.
Gone.
