  • Takes no damage
  • Uses a game restart sequence
  • Manipulates luck

Comments

In this game, pressing R allows to speed up the Helirin's rotation. Since I don't need to wait so much when I go through a narrow passage without bumping, I chose a run that takes no damage instead of a brute-forced run. This run does not aim for in-game time because I have to collect keys to unlock almost all levels. Therefore, my records are slower than qqwref's one on 1-2, 2-2, and 2-4 but his timer just starts later than mine at the stages. So, this run is faster than his one on every stage in real time. After I clear a stage, I always reset the game to save time. However, I don't reset the game at the end of several mini games because there is no motion of walking after I finished the mini games and it is not help me save time. On the mini game of mowing the lawn, saving starts very quickly after finishing the game. Thus, reset helps me save time even though there is no motion of walking at the end of the mini game. The order of completing levels is different from previous run made by qqwref because the number of frames when I am going to the final stage is same, no matter where I finished all mini games.

Special Thanks

mmbossman: Another interesting take on the puzzle genre, and I enjoyed this one more than the similar previous submission. The minigames broke up the stages nicely, and it looked very well planned. Accepting for publication.

Sp00ky: Encode on the way.

Well done Ryuto ! Vote yes I think I prefer it more than you Kuru Kuru Kururin run, maybe because you didn't use brute-force.

I wasn't even aware that a sequel for Kururin existed on the gba (I was only aware of the one on the gamecube) Looks well planned, it was well planned out, I think it looks cleaner than the KuruKuru Kururin run by not taking damage, the mini-games were interesting to say the least. I sped through it though, enjoyable to watch, I say publish this along with Kurukuru Kururin.

You abuse the game's engine, rules, and cheat death. Gotta love it. Yes vote for me. Curious though, I see some extra levels after the ending. What happens when you clear them?

This game looks much better than its prequel. Everything seems improved. It doesn't require you taking damage to be more entertaining (though taking damage would still save time). The bonus mini games seems interesting as well. I don't know how well as to technical level you've done, but a big Yes vote from me is already guanranteed.

I guess Sir VG intended to ask, "What will happen if you clear the extra levels?"
<klmz> it reminds me of that people used to keep quoting adelikat's IRC statements in the old good days <adelikat> no doubt <adelikat> klmz, they still do

The word, "Congratulations!" will appear if I do it.

This is one of the most entertaining videos I have seen in some time. Good job. Btw, there's one level where the "record" time is shown as 11.31 seconds, but the completion time in this TAS is 15.46. How is that possible? Would that record time be even attainable?

I'm not talking about the times in some previous run. I'm talking about the "record" the game itself is showing.

He runs several stages twice to get an alternate route. If the record shows something low and he doesn't match it, that's why.

Aren't graphics supposed to get better in sequels? Anyway... The minigames nicely break up the monotony in this one. Mowing the lawn was classic. The level of planning is apparent. I liked the stages where the "record" was smashed by an entire minute or more.

I first heard of it on the YTMND Soundtrack and I thought it was the theme song to Kuru Kuru Kururin after I learned about that game.

Can you delay the second subtitle entry to appear when the second room starts?
