That's a script action; no damage. ... it just dawned on me I know way too much about SM.
It took THAT to make you realize?

That's not very polite. You should just tell us what's going on straight up.

I don't see what's polite about "hey guys I figured out something cool, but I'm not telling anyone"

To be fair, it's still heavily in progress and not even ready to reveal yet. It's just that while discussing it with my accomplice, I noticed that quote in our conversation that was just DYING to be mentioned on the board. Incidentally, while trying to figure this out, the idea of a 0% run DID come up... but it got shot down by a quirk in the game loading. So no, it's not a 0% run but it's definitely a shocker. :) I'm avoiding spoiling it for full shock value when it's finally (hopefully) finished. Don't worry, it's nothing anyone else is going to have a use for in the mean time. This is me we're talking about after all. If you think I'm being rude still though... meh. My apologies, but I thought it was worth sharing that gem from the conversation. also Tub, you only guessed the second word correctly.

If you have something but it's not ready to be revealed, don't say anything instead of saying "I have something awesome, but it's not ready to be revealed" From the sound of things though, you'd found some way to edit the memory or the save game file. Perhaps through resetting during a save, perhaps using some new method. Sounds very interesting, looking forward to the technique and to the TAS.

Why?? Nothing wrong with a statement taken out of context to build up suspense and mystery. Besides, he's Kejardon.

Do you have any idea who Kejardon is or why he's so respected by SM enthusiasts? Obviously not, or you'd know better than to talk to him like he's some random jerk keeping secrets.
I will not use self-reference in my signature.

Praise the glory of Kejardon! Patience be with His disciples, the mere men, who are but Sunday gamers next to His infinite wisdom. His word shall be given unto us by Him, when He so desires, and His word shall give us enlightenment and salvation.

You say that like it's a joke, but it's true. And Kejardon is entiteled to some teasing.

Its alright, I'm sure Saturn discovered it circa 1981. So, he just wanted to let someone else take credit, for once.

No, he didn't. And the Saturn shit is in the past. Bringing it up is a completey pointless effort to take a shot at him.

I'm pretty interested in this secret Kejardon is hiding from us. I think he should give us a more elaborate hint. ;)

To be honest this sounds extreme enough to be kept secret, the Kejardon wants to blow up Zebes with the power-suit. I'd rather be hit off of my chair big time than get hints and guess what's going on and then watch it without the surprise factor. :)

It would be nice if you at least told us an approximate date of when you'll reveal it. (Months/weeks/days?)

My guess is when he's done recording and optimizing. But hey, I've been wrong before.
Kirby said so, so it must be true. ( >'.')>

This is what I'd like to know, approximately when I'm going to get to see the planet spontaneously combust so I'm not wasting so much time checking this thread :P

Oh man I can totally see this. Samus grabs the morph ball, curls up into a ball and explodes, taking the whole planet with her. Or maybe after Ridley flees with the metroid, Samus gets in her ship and fires the ship's gigantic hyper beam at zebes gg.
