Comments

The game changes the set of minigames once every second. It's always the same set of minigames on the same seconds no matter what you do, which means there's 59 different sets of minigames to choose from. The set I choose features six of the eight most high scoring ones.

Minigame by minigame comments

Barrel-roll Bridge Blast: There's an annoying glitch where if you shoot the barrels too quickly the game goes to an infinite black screen after the score has been calculated, so I had to add a 2-7 frame delay between each barrel. Score: 54680
Zero-gravity Target Practice: Some minigames has targets you don't have to shoot, like the guy. Shooting them always give you 10 points. So whenever there's nothing else to shoot those targets will be shot. Score: 34240
Clock Torture: Very invisible clocks. Very boring mingame. Score: 45376
Can Collector: In the end I shoot cans that doesn't have enough time to make it into the tray. You get some points from shooting the can, but the majority comes from hitting the tray. Score: 49088
Bonus Stage: I waited 4 seconds before the minigame to change the chests so I could get a heart + points. There's a 13 second wait time after shooting the chest where you can still shoot. I tried to make a melody but failed horrible. So since it seems to be a theme for this game, I instead went with annoying repeating sounds.
Low Score Minigame 1: Boring and low score. I wish it was possible to get a perfect minigame set. Score: 9610
Low Score Minigame 2: Not as boring as last minigame, but still low score. Score: 10688
Animal Abuse: This minigame is unique in the way that it's the only one that lets you hit several targets with one bullet. There's 37 sheeps that gets piled up in 3 piles and repeatedly hit for a total of 2925 hits. Score: 45457
UFO Gangsters: Very repetetive. Score: 44700
After the final stage I got a total of 314288 points. If it was possible to get a perfect set of minigames another 100000~ points could be gained.

Nach: This game seems annoying to watch and to listen to. Rejecting.

Nach: As I said above this one is unwatchable. Not even worth the vault.

I'll be honest, that was a very irritating TAS. If you changed some of it to make it less irritating and maybe to make it more entertaining as well I'd vote yes, but I'm going to have to vote no on this one.
I am a figment of my imagination.

I didn't mind the noise, and unlike WarioWare, at least there's something to aim for. Unfortunately, the optimal strategy for all the minigames just seems to be rather repetitive and not fun to watch.

Ok so my HD encode will come later tonight. Yeah, I just claimed it. I'm almost done with Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

This run. The noises are incredible. I'm not sure if it's in a bad or good way.
<adelikat> I am annoyed at my irc statements ending up in forums & sigs

I've added my HD encode in the submission's author comments, with the DS variation of my new logo. I've seen this and, damn, that's a loud TAS, but it's an epic TAS too, so I'm voting Yes.

Very strange. It was more entertaining than Feel the Magic but the combination of the horrible sounds and repetitive game-play (it looked to me like every level was just a screen tapping exercise) make it hard for me to judge. I'll just vote Meh bordering on weak yes.

Just not very interesting. Also, this seems very trivial to make.

Voted No for the same reasons. Sorry, I just don't think it is a good game choice or maybe even genre choice for a TAS.

Voted meh. Although I somehow liked all the noise this run produced, just shooting everything at first sight gets boring after a while. Can't you shoot targets later without losing points? It would add more variation to the run.

These were all my thoughts, exactly. The sheep minigame was hilarious, by the way!

This may be a nice game to play, but boring for a TAS. Highscore TASes can be entertaining if the solution is not that obvious as in this case, for example Tetrisphere or Wetrix, but this one only shows about perfect reflexes. I dislike the messed up sound. A good TAS must offer more than that.

To me, this is the modern day equivalent of having a Duck Hunt TAS... or for the future when Wii games start being TASed, it would be WiiPlay. In another way, it reminded me of Xipo's Top Gun 2, where he's just shooting all the time - it can be entertaining at times, but not enough for publication, at least to me. In the end, I'm in-between a "meh" and a "no" for this. But in that case, it unfortunately means it should probably just be a "no". On the other hand, I think it would be a great candidate for Gruefood delight, and I can also tell that you did put in a lot of effort!
If at first you don't succeed, load your savestate and try again!

I'm pretty sure this TAS just won my all-time prize for "shortest span I was capable of watching it before desperately closing the browser." Surely someone likes these games; I won't vote no to take away from their enjoyment ... but goddamn.

Sorry man, but Voted "No". Very well executable, but it was very boring. Soooooo repetitive. This game is bad for TASing, in my opinion.

The re-rejection message currently reads:

I would like to know what "unwatchable" means. Right now, I interpret "unwatchable" as "no entertainment value" so it seems it was re-rejected for the exact same reason for which it had to be un-rejected in the first place (since the Vault specifically says that entertainment is pretty much of no significance as a requirement).

If one is to do it again how's about with less spam-age and killing ears?
