Pretty cool ^^ I think I heard many songs of step mania through this video, power plant, exhale for example... Anyway, if you project to make another run or to perfect this one, or just in case you don't know it, this link could be handy.

Here's the movie on google video if you don't want to use rapidshare. It's very impressiv. He can't use an emulator, he had to do this on the GC with action replay, so it's a hell of work... And if you're interested in such crazy things, watch this. But there are also many cool non-assisted vids for this game available (especially homerun-contest).

Me2, SSBM is great game in which you can do very cool things, especially with frame advance. A want create a godlike fox or marth myself.

I made a new compilation video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lO7Vfn5h-vw (Total: 2:49.87) Unfortunately, I messed up with the music so I chose a theme from YT's audio library. Also, many records are still being made so I'll consider making updated versions every once in a while.

This is somewhat old, and known throughout the smash community. =p It is also possible to get a character to have the wrong "stock icons" during a match.

i'll be updating this post with memory addresses that may be useful...or not. r5146 game timer = 0XXX110C. changes each time dolphin is opened. i recorded a few instances with their respective base values but couldn't figure out the pattern

Hello mchen. You think you can figure out where to watch for RNG stuff like Peach's turnips? I've always been curious about that and I don't mind screwing around for awhile if I know where to watch. My only thought is to reverse engineer some Action Replay codes that modify it, but I don't know enough about how the memory addresses are set up.

right now, i have very little idea what i'm doing. i can't find the address for damage, which should be really simple, so peach's turnips will probably take a lot longer.

Quick unlisted test to show off the new Dolphin revs power: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdMEA3QKyCE Not WR or anything special, but playback is perfect and dumping video/audio is working.

It has come to my attention that Action Replay videos aren't truly legitimate due to move decay not taking effect in development mode in SSBM's debug menu, meaning that the same strategies as seen in AR videos can't be theoretically reproduced on console or emulator, or at least the % and hitlag will be different. Therefore, I changed the formatting to better mark AR videos as such.

Hmm made a new topic, realized I shouldnt have so posting in here. Used dolphin emulator and fraps to record, which caused a problem because fraps slowed down my computer just enough that the emulator would skip frames and cause the entire recording to mess up (any idea how to fix this would be appreciated) A perfect Marth vs Fox game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xy8J6mUKzEs Perfect Kirby vs Fox game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaOjIsdf49U

What version do you use? Dolphin should be recording your stuff.

By the way, some good programmer should definitely get that stadium to 99999m or maybe unlimited... Ganondorf and Ice climbers should have a score better than 11347,2ft, at least to compete with their brawl self.

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised I don't see an AR code that does that. You should bring it up with some stage modders like milun2 or nifanatic (Youtube) to see if they can increase dimensions.

I contacted milun2 and asked if he would do this... he told me he would try, beside the fact he haven't touched those kind of modding for a while. I will send him this evening a file of ice climbers +25 000 feet, I hope he can make it fall on solid ground =).

By the way. I'm planning to submit a TAS of SSBM on Gamecube. Here is the first WIP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oEtCgE_tq0&feature=channel_video_title

I think the best way to get a publishable TAS for SSBM would be to do Adventure Mode instead, but I guess Classic could also work. That fight looked awesome.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

I know this is small potatoes but when on the character select screen, it should be faster to select Hard difficulty, then move up to character. The cursor should have less distance to scroll. Why Classic instead of Adventure mode?
