I think Russia is too far away from Iceland. Not all nothern countries are neighbors to Russia.

Soviet Russia is greater than you think, dude, you forgot all these cunicolos (& bunkers) spreading much wider than actual geographical borders.

I thought Soviet Russia doesn't exist anymore. (But perhaps that's just what they want us to think...)

Thank god that derailed 13 reply thread was broken up into two much more readable 7 reply and 6 reply threads instead of allowing this stuff to continue.

I think Iceland is a pretty cool country.

Hey T, This looks pretty legit. Personally #4,5,7,10 seem the most interesting. From all the pictures I've seen, Iceland is a beautiful country. It would be a shame not to do some hiking or something (unless you just are not into that). The hot springs seems kind of boring imo and more like a "lol tourists will pay us money to go sit in water" kind of thing. I suppose the same could be said of hiking, though :P The glacier walk seems interesting to me because 1) nature and 2) I've never seen a glacier in person. Westman Islands could also be potentially interesting for the same reasons as hiking etc. I put #10 on there because I like fishing. Look through the list, see what you might enjoy. From here #5,6,7 look nice. I'm pretty sure 5 (the perlan) and 7 (the church) are free. Good for pictures and stuff. Also seeing crazy architecture with the church and all that. There are also many free museums including the art museum. Unless an icelanderman shows up to tell you some specific thing to do, all I've done is ask google "list of things to do in iceland". Similar searches can probably get you a pretty good trip itinerary. Be sure to leave some empty time in though (or include something you wouldn't mind skipping) in case you find out about something more local and non-internetized that looks like fun when you get there.

So... why exactly are you guys (Fabian in particular) upset/amused by the topic being split? And what does the amount of replies have to do with anything?

The original topic seemed like a rather casual one anyway. I'd have been for just deleting the posts or taking no action at all. This topic here serves no purpose and shouldn't exist or at least be locked imo.

jimsfriend's post must be moved to the real Iceland thread.

Oh, right! Because "Greenland" would more aptly be named "Iceland" and vice versa! I forgot! I hear they also may be out of money now but I'm "american" so world events kind of bore me. Iceland is by Australia, right?

Hi feos! My post is exactly where I wanted it. If it gets moved to the "real" Iceland thread, I will be distraught! D: Or did you mean it should be split to a 3rd topic "Real Iceland Thread"? I would be distraughter! D: PS: What makes one Iceland thread real and the other fake? Neither of these Iceland splits seems to be more relevant to the original question than the other.

Maybe you could try comparing? Especially considering this thread isn't relevant to anything whatsoever, other than itself maybe.

Moozooh, did you realize you still have a beard made up of a Santa hat? I like it, I think more people with beards should try to grow Santa hats.
