That's a cool glitch, but it doesn't seem like it'll help you speed up the run at all. You should continue looking for them, though, as if you can find one that yields a faster completion time than the regular SMB run, it'd probably be worth publishing. :)

I didn't try to do a speed run, I just did the run for fun and found the glitch. How can I download Microstoarge FM2 movies? because I can't. I think HappyLee's warped movie is unimproveable.

I thought some of the levels can improveable and I thought I need some help, I got stuck on 3-1 because I can't do the flagpole glitch, it was hard to do at that one level.

Happy Birthday! But the vine glitch didn't help so I loaded another savestate and then I got stuck when I couldn't do the flagpole glitch at 3-1.

I'll give you directions to do the flagpole glitch: Jump off the tip of the block - press A for one 1 frame, while you're falling in the air, press left for 1 or a few frames, then try to press right for maybe a few frames while you're closer to the block with the pole, when you're about to enter the block, press left-right or left, do nothing for the next frame, then press right for one frame if you have to, and last, press left-right-a or left-a. If you want to see a video tutorial, see my tutorial video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUclWBteK_0 Good luck doing the flagpole glitch! (:

I think I should rather do a Mario warpless run than Luigi warpless run, because I think it will be easier to do.

Yeah, but a Luigi run would be more entertaining, and that is what counts.

Alright, I admit that the Luigi warpless run is better, I would maybe make a movie of it pretty soon.

Warpless a) shows off more of the game and b) shows creative solutions for levels where you would have a different solution for Mario.

Still nothing dramatically different from the warpless Mario run of SMB. Certainly there's gotta be some part of this game that benefits from using Luigi...right?

I hope. UPDATE: Here's V2! http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/837759210/annsmb-luigiwarpless-V2-tmwf.fm2 BAD NEWS: I had a lot of stress at 6-4, it was a SMB2 (J) level and there was no way I can do it, the reson is that Bowsers has hammers and when Mario shoots fireballs, then it causes lag, and Bowser was not in a good spot, so then I deicided to quit, so sorry... ):

Wow, that's amazing! I'll try to find out weather SMB or SMB2J has got the same problem...
Recent projects: SMB warpless TAS (2018), SMB warpless walkathon (2019), SMB something never done before (2019), Extra Mario Bros. (best ending) (2020).
