GBC Lucky Luke by TheKDX7

Game Descriptions

Lucky Luke went out on gameboy and republished on gameboy color two years later. In this game we embody the most famous of cowboy to leave in search of the biggest criminals of the Wild West. Within 25 minutes Lucky Luke succeeds in finishing 12 levels as well as in capturing all the bandits.

Comments

The game is played in hard mode thus Lucky Luke arranges that of 3 hearts. If you lose your 3 hearts in a level you begin the next level with one heart.

Stage by stage comments

Mexico City

I lost 3 times damage but otherwise nothing of complicated well.

Stagecoach

I amusing me with the obstacles a lot. And I take advantage to take both hearts which are on the road.

Painful Gulch

I kill Jesse James.

Train

I kill most enemies whom I can. And I kill Billy the Kid.

Saloon

I does not lose damage in the explosions because I need 2 hearts for the next level. I kill Pat Poker.

The Prairie

I loses 2 hearts otherwise nothing special.

Buffalo

The second level in auto-scroll in which I kill Averelle.

Ranch

Two bulls make me lose damage to save time. The technique of fight of Jack is similar to that of Jesse James.

Rapids

This level is rather funny to make everything as the battle against William.

Cheyenne Mountains

I hate this level he my needed approximately one thousand rerecords to end it. I collect big hearts to be able to lose more damage in the last level. And I beats Joe.

Tornado

Nothing special, just entertaining.

Jail

It is necessary to unbolt doors, to return a bone to Rantanplan and to beat last time 4 Daltons.

Special Thanks

Patryk1023PL: to have helped me to begin the TAS.
TimmyAckmed: for his tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHl5-KW0SSU
Realmyop and Coeurdevandale: to have become known to me the TAS.
Sorry for my bad English.

Mukki: Judging...
Mukki: This run has had mostly negative feedback in the thread. While the run seemed technically acceptable the main issue cited was that the autoscrollers were uninteresting and too many. Furthermore, the platforming stages are bland and don't make up for the autoscrollers in a run of this length. This falls under bad game choice and so I am rejecting this run. Best of luck with future submissions!

adelikat: Unrejecting and accepting to the Vault

Ilari: Got an set of encodes for this...

I remember this game to be more fun than this looked like. Maybe I'm thinking of a different game (but I know it was a Lucky Luke one for gameboy). The lack of action in the autoscrollers made this a boring watch and I fast-forwared through most of it.

Which VBA did you use? In VBA24-M, the movie doesn't go past setting the difficulty. In VBA23.5, the first level appears to sync fine, then Luke kills himself in Stagecoach.

You could be thinking of GBC Lucky Luke: Desperado Train.

Well, I watched the run on that old VBA version, and I have to agree with MUGG that the autoscrollers are too many and too uninteresting. But the rest of the run was pretty good, so I'm voting Meh.

Not bad! The run looks more or less precise. There are many autoscrollers, but I thought they had good dancing. Also, this game has the world's ugliest tornado ;-) Yes vote. Also, this game reminds me a lot of The Smurfs. The music and some of the graphics are exactly the same.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

You're welcome. I was the one that encouraged you to submit this (and Desperados Train), and now there's no reason for it not to get accepted into the Vault.
