With a new method of crashing the game, it doesnt take 41 seconds anymore. It now takes only 39 seconds!!

Old method

Description: If Yoshi has a coin on his tongue and Mario gets the coin, then Yoshi has "nothing" on his tongue. If then spawns a sprite, it will teleport on Yoshis tongue. Since a chuck has the "gives powerup when eaten" property, the game crashes as it tries to powerup Mario.

New method

Description: If you spawn two Yoshis, one will become invisible. If Mario is on the invisible Yoshi, and the visible Yoshi dies, the invisible Yoshi will appear under Mario. When Mario dies at the same time, Yoshi will stay under Mario and then Yoshi tries to eat a berry => crash.

Nach: Uninteresting goal, rejecting.

I know this is an April Fools submission, but I actually like the idea, since it isn't as straightforward as "beating the game". I think it could spawn a brand new and original run category for many games. Voting yes!

Does the music go forever? Voting no unless the music is crashed as well.

The audio hardware is almost completely separate from the rest of the system; if the game crashes then it's only natural that the music continues.

It might be faster to crash the program by pressing the power button on the console, thereby preventing the program the ever-important electrons it needs for sustenance. Just kidding. Yes vote for shits.

Very nice! I actually froze the game myself on console a few days ago. I think it was caused by Yoshi being hit while he was trying to lick a red berry, or something like that. Either way, it made me have to reset.

My game broke. Have you tried a hard reset?

Wow. I do like this category of run. Nice going!
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

Heartily approve of this category. The two I've seen so far have been easily as entertaining as most normal runs.

Given the site's standards I can see how this was rejected... All the sane, there ought to be like an entire gruefeed delight category of this kind of thing...
