Recently I decided to take stock of just how many video games I actually own. The results surprised even me, and secretly I was thankful that I buy most of my games on the cheap and/or second-hand, otherwise I would probably be close to bankrupt.
And the worst part? Of the 180-odd games I own across five consoles and PC/Mac, I've only ever properly beaten about 50. That's....rather sad actually. I need to put more energy into finishing games.

My current project: Something mysterious (oooooh!)
My username is all lower-case letters. Please get it right :(
I am trying to finish fullsets of NES, N64, and SNES right now.
I have approximately 300 of the ~800 NES games, somewhere around 200 of the ~800 SNES games, about 120 of the 300 N64 games.
I also have about 100 atari games, 50-80 genesis games, then a handful of games for other systems.
Sage advice from a friend of Jim: So put your tinfoil hat back in the closet, open your eyes to the truth, and realize that the government is in fact causing austismal cancer with it's 9/11 fluoride vaccinations of your water supply.
My brother and I compiled a list of all our handheld and console games (except Atari, we were feeling lazy about that), we have 180.
Who knows how many PC games we still have, much less whether they can still run.

I own 0 games at the moment.
The highest number of games I ever owned was about 5. All were PC games.
I think five was still too many considering one of them was Mortal Kombat II.
I have never owned a console and I probably never will.
I'm also not going to buy any games, ever.
Somebody was thinking about this comic when creating this thread, no?
And no, I'm not listing all the games I own. I would break the forums when I'm done at the age of 40. Assuming it still exists.
When I bought my first PC (that was in the mid-90's) and started buying games, I had the principle of "if I am paying this much money for a game, it better last a long time", so I really took my sweet time to complete games. I really hated it if I finished a game in just a week or so. It felt like a waste of money.
This had the negative side-effect that I got bored of many games and left them unfinished. "To be finished later." That "later" never came with most games.
At some point the feeling got gradually inverted: Not finishing the games started to feel more of a waste of money than finishing them, even if finishing the game took just a few days. Hence I changed my attitude completely: When I buy a game, I finish it before playing anything else (on the same system, at least). I only make an exception with games that happen to be so utterly bad, boring or unplayable, that playing them is a pain. (There are only a few of those so far, and they have all felt like ripoffs.)
At some points I have taken the project to finish those old games I didn't back then. Examples of such games include Grim Fandango, Curse of Monkey Island, Myst 3 (all great games, btw), and others.
In this "diagram", I present to you the amount of Games you own vs. how Awesome you are.
Congratulations DarkKobold!
You've made it past the uncanny valley! :D
Nah, I'm pretty sure I'm still in that weird creepy phase, where people give me the odd eye. Also, until I get about 100 more games, I have to walk with a cane and a slight gimp.

I don't own too many games. Only PC/Mac and PSX games. The few PS2 games I bought were given away to my sister. So I have about 40 PSX games and maybe 20 PC games, most of them in big box.
My game collection is so large that I'm too lazy to write them all down here. Here's a photo I took (yeah, I know, the image quality is horrid, but I don't own any actual camera currently) about a year ago to give you an idea. (My collection has grown since then by about a dozen games or so.)
I have also bought quite some games on Steam and Xbox Live, so they obviously don't show up there.

Good luck figuring out what they are, since some don't "exist" in redump's .dat files as noone dumped them yet except probably me :P.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door! What do I win?
Seriously, though, you can just right-click those in Dolphin and go to the Info tab. It should tell you the name of all of those games. I just know TTYD's code because I've opened it so many times in Dolphin.
That's why I wrote "own". I don't actually have some of those games at the moment, but instead, I burrowed dics from my relatives and dump them on the wii. :P
