-Gens9c
-no warps/passwords
-programming errors: collision detection
-takes damage, no deaths
-hardest difficulty (you'd never guess it though)
-aladdin: same as the snes version; a humble street rat on his way to becoming a prince but must tangle with a sorcerer along the way. unlike the SNES version, this one gives u a sword which is hella-nifty.
-movie making was FANTABULOUS (again)!!! there were 1 or 2 desyncs but nothing which made me over-the-top upset. i stumbled onto this game after not play for about 10 years and saw someone thought a Gens version should be done (the games are VERY different), so i figured, okie-doke.
Description:
um...well, its an adaptation of the Disney movie. the SNES page was no help either. sorry guys, aside from describing game, i don't know what to say about it.
also, Xerophyte, i use wobbling again. sorry bout that. ;)

Bisqwit: Processing.

Eh, 's your video to play as you please. I'm just grumpy by nature :p Still a good run when 20 seconds shorter, so voting yes again.

hehe... improvements I saw you used in this version... Rope jumping. Better use of when to take damage. Better bossfights. Avoiding some stops. Added up to 20 seconds even with harder difficulty, very nice.

Does this desync at the Jafar battle for anyone else?

I don't understand why this hasn't been accepted yet. It plays the game effectively enough and sets a good record for a non-time attacked movie. Voting yes.

Now that I finally got a Genesis emulator I can start judging some games in the submission queue that I have been waiting for. This game is so easy that this timeattack, although being fast and all, doesn't provide much entertainment. Voting meh.

I agree it's somewhat bleah, but since it's the highest ranking Genesis movie in the submission queue with 14 "yes" votes and 0 "no" votes, I'm processing it now.

By "easy" I didn't just mean easy to finish, but easy to play fast. This video looks pretty much what it looks like when I'm playing it myself (except perhaps the jumping in the first stage). Since I didn't vote "no", I can't say I'm opposed to your decision. This run is not nearly as boring as World of Illusion (unpublished) or Castle of Illusion (published). Unlike those games, Aladdin has a few passages where the time attack and normal playing are not always the same.

I had never seen the sega version of aladdin, it looks pretty hard next to the one on the snes. the carpet ride is so much cooler. I did a run on the snes and wanted to see if i could make one on the genesis but your run is so damn good that.... ill leave that to that... nice going dude!!!
