Ok, my first movie for the NES : P
It's 9 seconds faster than Frenom's.
- Takes damage to save time
- Abuses programming errors in the game
- No missed shots
- As fast as possible

Thanks everyone

Truncated: Well, that was an easy choice. Unentertaining game where nothing happens except for walking right, horrible graphics and sound, and a ninja fighting with a gun. Rejecting.

Hm. Interesting. . . My Vote: Yes. Reasons: Much like someone else's "Shadow Dancer" run, this makes a few tiny mistakes here and there, but nothing unforgivable. Plus, it improves on the original time, so. . . Advice: Never eat anything blue.

I'm not so sure this is true - a game may not necessarily be fun to play but it all depends what you make out of it. I'm currently doing a run for Fist of the North Star, an exceptionally boring game, but it's coming out really nice to watch. We'll see, I suppose.

My vote is "no". The reasons for "no": - The gameplay of this game sucks - I don't think this is a famous game that everyone wants to see played fast - I tried the game a bit, and I got the feeling like this is a trivial game to timeattack (any experienced TAS maker could make this movie) and that it's possible to get close to this result in normal speedrun by training extensively. - The movie isn't attractive to watch. However, on the positive side: - It's a short movie - It's undoubtedly close to perfection, unless some glitches are discovered - There is no complaint in style.

I watched this movie then. Played extremely well, but a wrong game choice. As bisqwit said, this can be done normally if trained right. I was too bored to get a likeing for this movie. My vote is no.

This game is good. The speed run is good to. Ninja games rocks. I think it.

Lots of people make the comment that this was a bad game choice. How are these types of comments in any way helpful to Neofix in terms of making speedruns? The List of Ideas page says "This list doesn't cover everything, of course. If you want to see a movie of a game not on this list, start making it yourself! Just requesting it to this list doesn't make it happen." Why should anyone make a game not on the list when this will happen?

>Why should anyone make a game not on the list when this will happen? Well, that's always a risk you're taking. Even when the game is on that list, it might turn out to be mighty uninteresting to watch. Bad games can sometimes make for interesting runs, but more often they don't. And the choice of game is a very important part in making a interesting movie. If a game doesn't allow for anything impressive to be done, the movie just won't be any entertaining. I should mention that I haven't watched this one.

I think its tragic when you work hard to make a good movie and
people vote no, because they don't like the game. Its hell, man.

I've been there in that situation and I feel sorry for you.

So that is also a reason why I'm voting YES now.

This is a boring repetitive game. At about frame 20,000 I remember wishing the run were over. If this run wasn't done so well I would vote NO. But the run is done very well (no mistakes that I could see) so I hate to see it rejected. I guess I'll have to vote Meh. Summary: great run, terrible game.

Something must be done about this submission. It's the last one on queue with a number under 600. I have watching it and it's boring. I think it would be more enjoyable if the ninja could simply ignore most enemies, but that still wouldn't be enough. I'll vote NO, so there is space for better versions of the game.

Definitely qualifies for a Vault release. Just wonder if someone will ever dare try this again now that there is a place for it. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin
