Oh my god! Kayla (User 3)'s internet is not working!!! I'm trying to get a hold of her on Skype and the phone, and she will not respond to either!!!
So here's what happened.
Yesterday morning we were typing to each other on Skype while she was using Skype on her mobile phone. She and I were gonna talk on Webcam on Skype, but she could only do that on her laptop, and she tried to get on her laptop, and everything was "not loading up"! Her laptop was basically fucked up. And then when everything else was finally working after twice rebooting her computer, she could get on anything else (kind of) EXCEPT skype. I advised her to reinstall skype, so she uninstalled it and then reinstalling it was not working. So she finally gave up and we just continued to type while she was on her mobile phone.
She had to go like 30 minutes later, and actually so did I, so we texted each other every now and then until like 8:17. She said she made a new Skype account so she could try to get on her laptop again. Last text she sent me was at 8:17 PM last night. I got back home at about 8:50, and I logged on Skype and yaddah yaddah yaddah, I sent her new skype a friend request at 8:56 pm, and she didn't respond at 9:00, so I said "It's me, Billy!" And it has a loading bar on the side, which means the message isn't going through. So I tried to text her again, since I know she can't call anyone after 9:00 PM, but she can still text and type on skype after that, and she didn't respond BUT the message still seemed to go through, which is the funny part, because I think whenever you send a text and there's no phone signal it usually says "Send Failed" or something like that. So I stayed up until like 6:00 in the morning that night (which is last night), and she still didn't do anything. Her internet was STILL out, and she STILL wasn't answering texts. So this morning when I woke up I thought if I'd called her a couple times, maybe she would answer, but she didn't text me or call me back or anything. AND the loading bar on skype is still there. Then an hour later I tried calling her twice again, and the second time, apparently someone answered, didn't say anything at all. I said "Hello? Hello?" and I hung up because whoever it was wasn't answering me. I hope it wasn't an actual person who picked up, I hope it was just glitching out. Anyway, so I tried calling her again an hour afterwards, and her phone went straight to voicemail. Hour later again, she just didn't answer, but it didn't go straight to voicemail. So here I am now, lonely and desperate waiting for her to COME BACK!
So here's the situation she's in just to explain further. She lives in southern Maine near Portland, ME, and she said she has "overprotective parents". She also said that she was going to a summer camp in a week or so where she probably wouldn't have much signal. But that's supposedly in a week from now, so I don't see how that's possible. I mean it is possible it got rescheduled or something and she went early. I looked up the weather in her town, and it says that last night when her internet was out, it was "partly cloudy". Right now it seems to be sunny with only some clouds and it is 74 degrees farenheit, so I don't see how weather could be the problem. It's also more than likely that her parents took her phone and computer away (due to the fact someone answered the phone, turned it off, and turned it back on at some point), but I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that's not the case, because if it is, I may never get to speak to her again. Its also possible that, well, somebody's working on the internet or something that I may never be able to predict. Or also very likely, she may be getting my texts, but her phone is being shitty and glitching up so much and it's so slow she can't even text me back (which could somehow or another be tied to her computer problem yesterday morning). She's been gone for almost 24 hours now! I'm WORRIED SICK! Lemme repeat that I AM REALLY REALLY WORRIED! I just wish we were talking to each other right now! I would do anything for her to talk to me again. If someone could please help me figure out what's going on/give me advice/help me somehow FIX her internet if possible, or tell me if you've had similar situations happen to you that you could tell me what is most likely going on and how long she'll most likely be gone. She's already been gone for 22 hours as of now. Thanks guys! :)
