This game clones megaman with girls, I did a tas of this game with Spiritia before, visit #3496: Bernka's Windows Rosenkreuzstilette "Spiritia" in 27:58.25 for more info.
The run use Grolla, who is more like megaman Zero, and the more is while her HP down to half and lower, she can use more powerful charging sword.
Config file: http://www.mediafire.com/?chg7g8i4hd5v7di (Notice to back up your config.dat)

Game Objectives

  • Game version: v1.05c
  • Tool used: hourglass-r81
  • Aims for fastest time
  • Takes damage to save time
  • Plays as hidden character Grolla
  • Uses no password and no in-game code

About this run

This run play in 25:51, with the hidden character Grolla. Type ←→RL to switch Grolla mode.
The 8 bosses order is freewill, because Grolla can’t get any items form them.

Useful value

  • Boss HP:28
  • Boss invulnerability:59 frames
  • 1st/2nd slash:3
  • 3rd slash:4
  • Dash slash:3
  • Charging sword (up to half HP) :3
  • Charging sword (down to half HP):4
For Spiritia, each hit wounds +2.
For the final boss, while up to half HP, each hit wounds -1, while down to half, each wounds -2.
And the final boss fight, if you hurt her and let her HP down to half, she wounds as while her HP up to half before she disappear.

Improvable points

  • Don’t jump too much, every jump may slow down by 2 frames.
  • Each hit will give boss invulnerability, so use more powerful slash as each hit is the first choice. Reduce one hit may save 59 frames at most.
  • At the end of the 8 boss fight, use ground slash at the right time, stop to jump and save a few time.
  • You can dash on a ladder, but no rising.

In-game clear time:

24:32.92
That’s all.

Couple of questions I have about Luste's stage, both very minor things. 1. Is is really beneficial during the "Air Man platform" section to jump that early, or would it be beneficial to wait a few frames longer to jump to the platform at a higher spot? 2. If I remember right, you don't need to be dead center w/ Grolla when she teleports out. If that's correct, wouldn't it be faster after Luste to be on the higher platforms?

Any reason why single charged slashes weren't used on the stained glass window boss?

Nice going, and good encode. The fights against the Spiritia boss were really made to look a lot easier than they normally are. Yes vote.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. 1.Whenever you jump to that platform, you won't be faster for the next one, or you mean sth else? 2.If you walk too close to she, she will fly up, I just wait for she stay on the platform.

The boss only can be split up by 2 hits, however you use charge sword.

Archive collection Against all odds, Hourglass managed to sync without week-long voodoo magic rituals. This run is great, too.

Why this keeps happening? Equal in Chrome, Opera & Mozilla. http://rghost.ru/40836682.view

turska: It's great that you got it to sync. Though I noticed your encodes have these horizontal transparent lines in the clouds in Luste's stage, which I think are not supposed to be there. Anyway, I like this run, though I prefer that the amount of time saved over this Grolla run be given somewhere. Guessing from the end times of the two uploads, it is about 2 minutes.

perhaps the developers didn't intend the lines to be there, but do they show up on hardware?

The Spiritia run was dumped in a similar VM with different graphics hardware/drivers on the host system, and it doesn't have the anomaly. For unknown reasons, on the particular setup I'm using, the anomaly happens and there's not much I can do about it. Also, get your ass on IRC, you've been missed.

There are a ton of those error lines all through the entire encode, that's just the most noticeable. They're also all over the place in Grolla's stage in the floors, and on I think every single ladder. It's really bad in the stained glass boss's stage too where the lines are bright red.

Indeed! I would like to play it, but I can't figure out the Japanese site. I downloaded something but it doesn't seem to install (it shows some Japanese dialogs instead). Can someone tell me where to download this game?

http://www.darksidetranslations.com/index.php?page=projects&project=rks Here is an English translation site. Follow its link to get the original game and the patch. It is about 16 USD. Still tough to navigate their English site, it is a good example of how not to do e-commerce.

Downloadable encodes have been redone with a dump from Atma that doesn't have the texture error. The new youtuber is coming up in a day or so.

i dont know iff this glitch was discovered, but i post here. in the sky stage, the part of the chance block, iff you go in the right moment when appeare the block and press any direction, the character cross faster that line, like the wall rush in megaman, but in the first rossenkreus only work with grolla, she can grab the wall, spirita, die, and work in the second game. i dont know how record that part to show, my pc sux, but i try to put a gif or a single video to show how work that.

Nice zipping glitch! drakorg23, perhaps you should comment in the thread for this game, at http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11491 However, it seems like that thread has also been pretty quiet.
