I used to play this game so much, and I made a TAS of the mission mode for fun. Link to video If I were to submit a TAS of this game, would something like this be good? Or would the road rage option like Crazy Taxi be more suitable? Also note, that the loading screen is actually longer on console, Dolphin dumps frames based on frame rate rather than VI.

That looks interesting. I think a mission mode tas is fine.

Looks pretty neat! On some of the drives, hitting trees appears to slow you down a little? Did you find it was faster to drive through them instead of avoiding them?

Lol, yeah I did notice that too. That was more for fun, but my best guess is plowing through straight to hit the guys would be faster than hand-brake turning left and right to avoid them. I'll test it out.

That was cool! I agree that you should do a run of this mode. Also, it's funny how Otto sounds like the narrator guy from Crazy Taxi in this game.

I originally was planning on submitting the run in the video, but I've already found out about ways to go faster, like ramming into certain objects at an angle while handbraking, like what happened on the "save the trees" level.

Did you choose a difficulty? Because in the long woop piles level, you end up with 4 seconds left. I'd guess it'd be really hard to do the level then unassisted with so little time. Or more likely that can't be the best route.

I tried working out a little glitch I was talking about, heres a try of the first mission: Link to video The way it works, is you powerbrake turn into a car and sometimes you go flying off in a sideways direction you choose. It will save a lot of time for sure, except I only improved this level by 1 second. I'll see if I can get it faster.

That looks a lot more superhuman than the previous TAS. To me, it looks improvable, as it seems like you go flying off real fast some times, and barely get a speed boost other times, so it'd be worth finding out how to maximize speed gain from this. Also, is it just me, or do you gain speed just by power sliding alone? Either way, this is starting to look like a pretty entertaining TAS, looking forward to your next video.

Considering the fact that Crazy taxi was well received, I think a normal play of this will be well received too. I liked also the last video, keep your great work! :)
