Hi, So as the title says, I want to view hitboxes in SMW on the Biz-Hawk emulator. I am in the middle of a TAS and I just realised how much easier it would be with the ability to view hitboxes. Please include an "Idiots Guide" on how to do this.

Just use Amaraticando's script to see it (assuming you're using version 1.11.0 or higher). Load the rom, then Tools > Lua Console > in the console window go to Script > Open Script... > select the script where you saved it.
Games are basically math with a visual representation of this math, that's why I make the scripts, to re-see games as math. My things: YouTube, GitHub, Pastebin, Twitter

Hope it works. Also whats the 2 PNGs for? Edit:------------------------------------- Starting smw-bizhawk script. ./images/bitmapplayer_blocked_status.png not found! Hotkey 'O' set to increase opacity. Hotkey 'I' set to decrease opacity. Error: NullHawk does not implement memory domains LuaInterface.LuaScriptException: 3892 Cheats not allowed. Cheats not allowed. I dont like errors... Did I do something wrong? Edit2:--------------------------- I got the GUI screen up (Who new about toggles. huh) but it only stays onfor 1 frame... Thanks ~Peace

The .PNGs are used in the script, so the folder "images" needs to be in the same folder of the script, to run properly.

My script is not working properly with the latest version of BizHawk (1.11.3), if you use the Direct3D9 display method. If you wanna a simple script, with only the hitboxs (some are wrong, though), there's one at the BizHawk folder > Lua > SNES > Super Mario World.lua

I suggest you to use the older Bizhawk in order to use the full script. It's really important to see the values that the script shows to optimize movement, and it helps you a lot to learn more about the game :)
