Yeah, but I'm not sure how long that would take in TAS, although I would assume it would be faster than bouncing on trampolines for 10+ minutes.

That's the one thing I'm not sure is possible. I couldn't replicate the original clip (with minimal effor) so I didn't bother trying going the other way.

237 bounces is the number required to get all crystals for the main levels, although I don't know if you just need a certain crystal count or if you need to beat the right levels. here is a spreadsheet of what each bounce number gives you if anyone is interested: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuQFSmSTqe41dEhraFAxeFphWGpjbEtDRG9NUUhCQ2c#gid=0 I am missing a some stuff, but this is most of the important things.

Due to the inaccuracy of emulation and this game, I believe it's still under debate if a TAS would be acceptable.

Nope. Introducing PAST ME. Also we can see your small text when we hit quote... or drag into a search bar (or other). Got4n the Crash Warped movement is a bit crazy and you have to do it in analog to get the fastest movement (see pirohiko's comparison in Crash 2 forums). Hence why we are all waiting on Playstation to be added to Bizhawk.

You've got the lua script which already exists in this topic. You can use the exact same values from the lua and put it into a ram address if you're using the US version.

How would people feel about turning off SFX in a Crash 3 Any% (No Major Skips) TAS? Advantages: Skip 50 seconds of cut scenes throughout the run. Also, you can hear the awesome music better. Disadvantages: No SFX (no sounds for spin, jump, slide, etc.) Note: Music would be left on because it doesn't save time to turn off.

I'd rather have the SFX on, honestly. Feels so weird seeing gameplay with no sound effects. The cutscenes are short, far enough between and pretty funny (if I do say so myself), so I'd say keep 'em on.

Not sure about the SFX, it sounds a little bit weird but saves a lot of time, and maybe the SFX can be add again to the AVI encode with a little hack (similar to the Sonic Advance camera hack), assuming it doesn't create extra lag frames or anything leading to a desync. About the route, I believe there must be other levels to get the 5 or 25 crystals faster than the lv4+Tiny route (particularly level 15, although I don't know if you can get an item from jumping on the giants when they are still alive), but so far no one (including me) has been able to reproduce the gate clip.
