In Closing

Thanks to people below, I can complete this TAS.
  • Djeez : He publishes Gusty Glade Wrong Warp (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbPIyX_iFDo). This inspired me to make this TAS.
  • Umihoshi : He told me new trick "Fake Fall". This trick saves more than 10s in this TAS. And, his J ver TAS showed "Double Stomping". This trick is a hint of Wrong Warp in 5-1.

Masterjun: Judging while eating bananas.
Masterjun: New strategies, clever optimizations, and overall great improvements make this into a solid run. Accepting as an improvement over the previous movie.
feos: Pub.

It seems very likely that a complete any% run could be verified on console. To do this, one would have to manually add extra frames where BizHawk eats them. This is falseable (at least it was in world 1). Do you want something like that? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqvMrGhdcZ4

^ wow that would be really cool to see this console verified! Why is bizhawk behaving differently then lsnes though? Don't they use the same bsnes core? Where is the discrepency coming from?

lsnes is version 85 (can be compiled with other versions) and BizHawk is 87. I'm not sure why this happens.

This is a lsnes movie that I made playing in real time just to test whether my run could be sync on console. I'm making a translation to see if your run can be verified. I'm trying to make it by hand and, if possible, I'll ask this dude to run on console.

I wanted to see the video on my smartphone, but seems like watching nicovideo without an app and an account is impossible on android. :/

Thanks, but the quality is horrible. I give a yes vote because the TAS is awesome, but I must also say that the encode provided by the authors does not allow to enjoy it.

It'll be published tomorrow.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

>ThunderAxe >creaothceann Sorry, quality of downloaded movie is bad. (I think 7-1 is the worst quality.) Nico server seems to encode original movie into bad movie. About the next work, I will improve. (Thanks for voting!) >feos Thanks! I'm glad.

This is one button pressing away from publication, and I have no idea what to pick as a screenshot. HALP

I'd recommend using this frame from 5-1 showing the complicated setup for the new wrong warp found in this stage. Definitely one of the coolest things to watch in this updated TAS.

Thanks everyone. My TAS is published. Btw, what is "Vote" above & "Rate" in [http://tasvideos.org/rating.exe/my/3261] ? My TAS results in moon tier. What is needed to get star tier?

The vote on top of this discussion thread is a poll asking viewers the question about how much they enjoyed the movie. It starts as soon as the movie is submitted. The poll gives a general idea on how other people like this movie. This helps the judge make his final decision on this movie (accepted or rejected, and what tier it should go into). After the movie is accepted and then published, people can rate the movie (example of the this movie). The rating goes from 0.0 (bad) to 10.0 (perfect) and is split into entertainment and technical quality of the movie. This movie went into the Moons tier, which is the place for most movies that are at least somewhat entertaining. To make it to the Stars tier the movie needs to be excellent in entertainment, optimization and overall quality and polish. We also try to keep diversity in the movies of the Stars tier, so it might be harder to get there with the other movie already in there.
Warning: Might glitch to credits I will finish this ACE soon as possible (or will I?)

You do of course realize it shows Dixie and a Crock having a fun time together right? With some sensitive person slapping a censor image over it.
