I realized that the last file wasted time trying to get the exact same position so I fixed that and the 7 frame wait. The y-subpixels should not affect the zips anyway. GMV file

Is curious the things that can be found in this type of runs, robotnik can hit you with invulnerability in Oil Ocean 2 (idk if this happen in others bosses), does not have a particular use I just found it fun to show it. I do not know how I could explain it, but I think when Knuckles dies, robotnik can hit the dying animation and Knuckles later lose the rings, so you survive ;-D GMV File

Wow, that’s a very funny glitch, you can undie from dead, that’s the true power of TAS :) Seems useless, but fun anyway :)

Thanks, I hope this community and TAS followers enjoy this movie when it is finished. Metropolis is in progress Well, about this zone, nothing in especial ACT 1 is done in the normal way, ACT 2 can collect all unreachable rings with the slope glitch, in ACT 3 I think animal manipulation will be needed in the capsule, so Zurggriff Would not have problems in do that? I will try to habilitate the look at the sky in the boss battle but I think it will not be possible like in the any% run (in some days I'll confirm when I arrive the boss area). The run in general I was thinking of fix CPZ2 and CNZ2 mistake that WST notice me and Zurggriff can add animal manipulation in CPZ too before submit the final movie, Sonic 2 does not have as many mobile objects as Sonic 3, we would not lose anything trying, anyway I do not have a deadline in mind and I would like it to be optimal, What do my comrades think?

If you really decide to go back and improve your run, consider redoing braking on objects — you still do it imperfectly, though way better than before. Compare your typical inputs with mine Yours [A][][<][<][v][v][vA] (7 frames) Mine [B][<][<][<>][<v][vA] (6 frames) I get your idea, you bring your speed to 129, then it becomes 1 and after 1 frame of waiting it becomes 0 and finally you can spindash. However, it is faster to press [<] twice to make speed 127, then pressing [<>] sets it to 128, and 128 is the «good» value which is already very well familiar to you and you know what to do with it. It saves 1 frame and also you end up a few subpixels further than in your case, as a micro or even nano bonus.

Good news folks I finished Metropolis, here is. Wow, now Metropolis Zone 2 is possible PERFECT BONUS with a lot of glitches. If my memory does not fail me, just one zone where PERFECT BONUS wasnt obtained was Casino Night Zone 2?

ARZ2 too, there is a ring inside a column, for which there is no known way to collect it as Knuckles alone.

I could try but I have no experience using Sonic and Tails together. For now, I'm doing a 100% run with Knuckles in S3K without Horizontal underflow, AKA- level wrap

Can anyone me with the final boss as Knuckles? I really need some tips as his low jumping height really makes things more difficult.

To do perfect-frame hits with Knuckles requires very precise and calculated jumps, I recommend you to check this movie with Sonic TAS Tools and/or contact Zurggriff to learn more. [3325] Genesis Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 by Zurggriff in 17:41.85 Currently he made the most optimized DE robot fight.
