I realized that the last file wasted time trying to get the exact same position so I fixed that and the 7 frame wait. The y-subpixels should not affect the zips anyway.

Is curious the things that can be found in this type of runs, robotnik can hit you with invulnerability in Oil Ocean 2 (idk if this happen in others bosses), does not have a particular use I just found it fun to show it.
I do not know how I could explain it, but I think when Knuckles dies, robotnik can hit the dying animation and Knuckles later lose the rings, so you survive ;-D

Well, about this zone, nothing in especial ACT 1 is done in the normal way, ACT 2 can collect all unreachable rings with the slope glitch, in ACT 3 I think animal manipulation will be needed in the capsule, so Zurggriff Would not have problems in do that?
I will try to habilitate the look at the sky in the boss battle but I think it will not be possible like in the any% run (in some days I'll confirm when I arrive the boss area).
The run in general
I was thinking of fix CPZ2 and CNZ2 mistake that WST notice me and Zurggriff can add animal manipulation in CPZ too before submit the final movie, Sonic 2 does not have as many mobile objects as Sonic 3, we would not lose anything trying, anyway I do not have a deadline in mind and I would like it to be optimal, What do my comrades think?

If you really decide to go back and improve your run, consider redoing braking on objects — you still do it imperfectly, though way better than before.
Compare your typical inputs with mine
Yours [A][][<][<][v][v][vA] (7 frames)
Mine [B][<][<][<>][<v][vA] (6 frames)
I get your idea, you bring your speed to 129, then it becomes 1 and after 1 frame of waiting it becomes 0 and finally you can spindash. However, it is faster to press [<] twice to make speed 127, then pressing [<>] sets it to 128, and 128 is the «good» value which is already very well familiar to you and you know what to do with it. It saves 1 frame and also you end up a few subpixels further than in your case, as a micro or even nano bonus.

Wow, now Metropolis Zone 2 is possible PERFECT BONUS with a lot of glitches.
