This is a glitchfest run, meant to show off how you can abuse the word recognition program.
I used Snes9x v1.43+ v9.
Is a demonstration
Exploits glitches
Manipulates Luck
WARNING: THIS TAS CONTAINS COARSE LANGUAGE
The first bit of luck manipulation was to force the game to pick the shortest family name for my opponent. "Hall" is the shortest name, which means less time was used during the name-typing process.
The fact that they appear as the most dumbfounded and shocked family when you beat them is an unintentional and hilarious side-effect.
Each round, luck was manipulated to ensure there were as many answers as possible, to abuse word recognition as often as possible.
Round 1 has twelve answers, round 2 and 3 each have six.
While answers were carefully chosen to be as ridiculous and elaborate as possible and still count as correct, all other factors were chosen with speed in mind. The bullseye round is skipped and all answers are typed as fast as possible.
adelikat: Hilarious. Gladly accepting for publication.
Samsara: The publication file has been replaced with a resynced version on BizHawk 2.8, courtesy of DrD2k9. This was done primarily to replace one piece of outdated language used in the original run, but also has the added benefit of more accurate sound emulation.
This was absolutely hilarious since I'm pretty sure no other game show would allow such an answer like "YOUR SHOW SUCKS" and still accept that as correct. xD
Strangely this TAS was uploaded (twice!) to Nicovideo, despite the obvious expectation that the Nicovideo audience cannot understand this TAS.

That, and it's not really a new and exciting concept now that this run's been around a while and gotten a lot of attention. The submitted Jeopardy run was probably the best attempt anyone could have made at differentiating it from the Family Feud run and it was still rejected partially for being too similar.

Now infrequently posting on Bluesky
the real problem is the game was just too slow paced, i think.
I thought it would be more entertaining in the same way the longer brain age TAS was, but nothing can really save that game.

Careful on what you wish for.~
Family Feud is going to Channel 10 at 6pm starting July 14th.
It might not survive for very long because the current issues at TEN.
long story short: Not getting enough views and is sitting at the bottom.
Recently cancelling a few shows and letting go of staff members at TEN (most from Melbourne and Sydney).
So this is TEN's gamble right now.
For the people un-aware of Australian channels.
TEN is the network split into 3 channels*:
one, ten (also known as: Southern Cross Ten or Prime/WIN (WA)) and 11
*It's actually 5 but I'm excluding the shopping channels
This is actually at a real "butter zoned" (good) pace.
Especially with all the looking towards the screen to see if it's up on the board.
If you remove the looking to see if it's the answer then it would be too quick.
Basically it holds out long enough to see and process what happens and then gives us another word for the answers.

I think he was talking about the Jeopardy run, which I do agree was quite a bit too slow paced. Family Feud, on the other hand, has just the right pace.

<dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects.
<Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits
<adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.
Game Grumps VS. played this game twice.
Name something fathers buy for their kids but play with themselves. Arin put in "C D PLAYER" and the game interpreted it as CAR, and the answer was MODEL CAR and were were like what?
Another one was Name something you keep in your junk drawer. Danny put in "PENIS AND SCROTUM" and the game interpreted it as PEN.
And one more thing on the 2012 edition and the question was Name a way people got around before cars were invented. The player put in BIKE and the game only took the consonants and the game interpreted it as HORSEBACK.

No you're not.
You're voting No 8 years later on a Legacy, Entertaining TAS.
And going by your track record it's going to be slow and not entertaining or creative at all.
