Link to video A faster way to move is to jump while holding left/right and at the peak release left/right and push and hold A until touching the ground. Oyea a password: XR4H (The 100% password, just in case you need it. I completed the game so... there, take it.)

http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/27867245427785037 I did a test run, 1st boss in the game done quick. A lot of stuff happens in the fight. Basically you can hit the boss in the first few seconds of the fight, then by getting hit, you can hit the robot again and ride above her head at your invincibility frames and hit her a third time. After that I walk away from the boss until I do more regular hits while walking above her head again. Also, you can softlock the boss fight by standing above her head for too long. EDIT: a very delayed encode Link to video

new WR: Link to video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaLVYI0WupU I was thinking of making a sort of theory TAS/LOTAD of this game. Actually I've been thinking about this for a while now, but not entirely sure if I'm motivated enough to do it right now.

I say go for it. It can be much easier to make a quick testrun as a first draft, than to start your highly optimized TAS and have nothing (in-emulator) to compare it to. Also, got4n and I aren't working on this anymore, so it's all yours if you want it!

I played this game a tiny bit casually and managed to get slingshot off Robo Sandy presumably to the air but i wasn't entire sure. I tried to replicate it but never managed to successfully :/ dunno if it'd be useful or not since I never came back down. Can try to mess with it in the near future if you'd like

https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638506352392123556 I improved RetroEdit's run (which is itself an improvement over the cancelled submission by Entepp) with a new skip and some minor optimizations. I console verified this run, but I'll hold off on making a video in case any more improvements are found. This run is pretty sync friendly, so it's relatively easy to look around and test things throughout the run. If no one else finds anything I'll submit what I have.
