Hello, i use Bizhawk 2.2.1 and with my snes roms the sounds jump approximately every 15 frames, i don't find a solution so i would ask you if anyone has a fix. Thank you for your help.
ROM names? Core used?

BizHawk 2.2.1 no gameboy firmwares crash: 1. Open a GB ROM (drag and drop) 2. Set "use BIOS" to true and place GB Bios in firmwares 3. Open a GB ROM (drag and drop) 4. Open a GBC ROM (drag and drop) Using the above steps it should always crash. After writing this post (while doing these steps), GB ROM doesn't have BIOS however it says "True" in bold letters. This also works revers (GBC ROM, place GBC BIOS, GBC rom, GB ROM)

These crashes have since been fixed and will roll out with 2.2.2. Try the dev build if you want to test it out.

Bizhawk 2.2.1 Gambette Cheats crash 1. Open GB ROM 2. Add a cheat using the Cheats tool 3. Save a state 4. Load that state 5. Press CTRL+R for crash Was trying to check some stuffs in Super Mario Land to generate lag frames with the Cheats tool. Don't know if it's only Gambette issue (tried A7800, no crash)

Can't reproduce on the dev build, seems to work. (Anything Gambatte related, just use the dev build for, many things have changed for it since 2.2.1)

I am not entirely sure if this is considered a bug or not, but in any case I'm posting it here. I have a few older .bk2 files from bizhawk version down to 1.11.6. I noticed some (not all) cannot be opened with the newest bizhawk version and give the error "Internal savestate error". The movies work perfectly fine using the bizhawk version they were made in, but not in the newest. It could very well be a mistake from my side, if so, please tell me ^^

Are you trying to open tastudio projects instead of simple movies? If so, open them with 7zip and remove Greenzone. Or simply export to bk2 and it should work in newer versions.

Upload the movie somewhere.

But it's normal that movies can start from a savestate... what exactly is the problem there? If it works in older bizhawk versions, it can't be cause of a missing file or state or something...

If savestate format changes over versions, you won't be able to get it to work on them. The only thing you can do is regenerate that savestate on a new version and substitute it in tour movie.

Oh so that's the issue, I assume there is no direct way of transforming an old savestate in a one that works with new bizhawk versions?

You can't transform the savestate, it's completely different. You need to make a movie that reaches the same point your savestate is on, make a new savestate there, and put it into your movie. The file is called Core.bin. Otherwise, starting a movie from a savestate is usually a bad idea, especially if you want to submit it here. Even even if your fix works, there's no guarantee that the movie will sync on the new version.

I'm dumping avi fine with 2.2.1. Try removing your config?

I believe PXM converter does not work properly in Bizhawk version 2.2.1. Steps taken: Downloaded .pxm file (tasvideos.org/2626S.html) Loaded .cue into Bizhawk for game File -> Movie -> Import Movies... Loaded .pxm file, .bk2 was created Opened TAStudio, loaded .bk2 I then opened the .pxm file in TAS Movie Editor and compared to what was in TAStudio (the newly created .bk2 file) The below album shows the discrepancies https://imgur.com/a/EMXpO I don't know much about this conversion process but I attempted to find any semblance of a pattern among the two files- I didn't find any

Using here the latest 2.2.1. A7800Hawk Commando TIA sound volume is much high than Pokey PicoDrive Some sound channels are extremely much more high than others channels. Start Mortal Kombat 2 ... voices are much high and music is much low. Have games that run in 50 HZ even being USA version. MK2 is a example. Mupen64plus Crashing when start any game. Tested selecting all renderers and has the same result. Windows 10 64 - 4 GB RAM - Geforce GT 640 latest driver.

I was putting in cheat codes like I normally do. When I go to load them, some of them are gone. This is a problematic bug that needs to be fixed pronto. Put in code 1 without symbols in name, code 2 with many symbols in name, code 3 without symbols in name, save, re-open, is there a code or 2 missing? The Always Load Cheats is problematic. It sometimes deletes cheats and messes up the compare values.
