Adventures of Lolo is a puzzle game for the nes featuring 50 levels, some unique gameplay mechanics, and some interesting glitches.
After staring at this run for many hours, I improved it by 16 frames (or one full step.)
The improvement is in 10-1, where moving a block at the start sets up slightly less wait time after collecting the heart at the bottom left.

ThunderAxe31: Accepting as improvement over the current publication.

I find it amazing how this game is still being pursued for cuts. When I have reviewed puzzles solves over and over, I get to where I can't see any improvements. Yet! I come back another day and something new shows up that I wouldn't have considered. This has been the case with a few TASes that I'm currently working on. Great job finding that cut Alyosha. Yes vote.
I recently discovered that if you haven't reached a level of frustration with TASing any game, then you haven't done your due diligence. ---- SOYZA: Are you playing a game? NYMX: I'm not playing a game, I'm TASing. SOYZA: Oh...so its not a game...Its for real? ---- Anybody got a Quantum computer I can borrow for 20 minutes? Nevermind...eien's 64 core machine will do. :) ---- BOTing will be the end of all games. --NYMX

Yeah that is my favorite part about working on puzzle games like this. It's a fascinating thing how new realizations suddenly appear out of thin air, and feels quite rewarding when you actually find something new after hours of failures. Also with this the only remaining lolo run not improved recently is lolo 3. It's more daunting at twice the number of levels, but hasn't had as many iterations so maybe I'll start looking at it. There is also Eggerland but that's a bit of a different case.

At 9533 frame in level 2-3, the enemy didn't shot Lolo. I want to know why?

This is a glitch in don medusa's line of sight detection. If they are moving left or right and you are to their left and there is a solid object to the left of you and the spacing is correct then you will not get shot. A similar thing can happen for vertical movement.

If Lolo was on the right side of the enemy, would that happen?

Nope, it is left side only. Similarly with vertical motion it would be above only and not below.

Thanks. I like this TAS. The game is interesting, and I tried some my ideas but didn't find any optimization. Good job.

Crazy coincidence, I beat this game on Switch and then watched the TAS just a few days ago. There is some surprisingly great manipulation of enemies and hitboxes in it, but mostly just normal optimized solutions, so probably still Vault. Congratulations on finding an improvement!
