Wow, talk about last minute! But remember that all your teammates needs to give a confirmation post before tomorrow!

Just for curiosity, if the teams are numbered, why our team (Lazy Town) is "Team B"? I noticed this long ago and never got corrected ._.XD

because you couldn't be team 1.

It’s because I jokingly asked if we could be named team 1 because of the meme song “we are number one”, but Dacicus punished me by naming the team B.

Then why not calling it Team A? It should be fine as long it's not another 1. Link to video

Are there going to be any other teams that will have a name/logo?

The game has been revealed: Bugz on Uzebox! See the first post for details.

Teams can still create/change a name or logo for two more weeks.
Current Projects: TAS: Wizards & Warriors III.

This game throws an error on BizHawk 2.4.1 and 2.4.2. Note: It will still run, but you can't use TAStudio. In order to run this game you need to use BizHawk 2.4 with prereqs 2.1 installed (using more recent versions of the prereqs don't have the required Visual C++ 2012 Update).

The button combination allowing you to skip around levels is allowed only for a run aiming for Arbitrary Code Execution/Memory Corruption/SRAM Glitch/Game End Glitch/Wrong Warp Glitch.
How does this button combination becomes not cheating when ACE or other trickery is used? The wiki says:
Bugz Uzebox wiki page wrote:
In single player mode, the following button combinations are considered cheating and will zero your cumulative score, but in two player modes may be used to skip around the levels with no penalty:
SELECT+SL - skip to previous level
SELECT+SR - skip to next level
(In any two player modes, you will both keep your cumulative scores, but lose any points earned in the current level.)
I know that the wiki page quotes single player mode, but I don't get how this becomes any different in multiplayer mode. I don't quite understand how it becomes not cheating if it's used to assist in ACE. This seems to the definition of a level select code, which seems to go against http://tasvideos.org/MovieRules.html#CheatsDebuggingCodesAndArcadeContinuesAreNotAllowed. Is there some precedent where if a cheat code is used, but ultimately enables memory corruption instead of going directly to the end, it becomes fair game? To me, it would seem there's no such exception in the rules, and such an exception could potentially create problems. For instance: debug codes may be less tested, so getting into an invalid state from them may be inherently easier. One could argue the debug code taints the legitimacy of the run, even if it's used for a purpose different than the intended purpose.

Ive got a proposal for others teams: You voted for something unknow, how about we vote for something we know. Im proposing to pick the saturn game, it isnt very long (30min) and there is a RTA Link to video I realize this isnt really in the rules, but should the others teams agree I dont see a real issue with it. My main reason for proposing this is the current game is an atari clone of lone runner with absolutly nothing appealing in it, not even musics, maybe it make up for an excellent puzzle solving, but the saturn game is so much more pretty, it has accelerations, triple jumps and what seems like cool stuff overall for a tas, id dare saying it might even be entertaining, unlike those 21 lvl coin-picking 8bit graphics.

I don't think Ninpen makes the best TASing material. It's a monotonous game where it's likely strategies won't deviate from the most obvious intended methods. I personally would have suggested Burning Rangers for a short not too complex game, with potential for clever strategies. However, I'm with you and would say Bugs is even worse TASing material than Ninpen.

I'd rather not change the game at this point. Graphics aren't everything.

I'd tend to agree. I think the Lode Runner comparison is a bit surface level, since the movement here is quite different, and the 2-player mode makes for some interesting routing possibilities and challenges.

Picking something we know would take the whole fun out of the contest.

I've shared what I've learned so far.

This is sickening. Someone TASed the European version, but you have to buy the encode from friggin' Amazon! Has TAS monetization gone too far!?

I really don't like this rule tbh. It means in the event of two equally as fast strategies, I have to go with whatever gets the most score rather than whatever is the most entertaining. Same with downtime.
