It's unfortunately not useful enough that I can go back to my old way of using the site where I used the new post indicators. (Manually finding where the unread posts start in each thread I open is too bothersome.) But I found that using "Posts since last visit" is an alright way to use the site once I realized I could log out and then back in as a way of making the "last visit" tracking actually work. So, even though my old workflow doesn't work anymore, I do have a workflow that I can use. I'm curious, though: What criteria is used by this new last visit tracking to determine what counts as a new visit? Hopefully this new addition means that I can skip the step of logging out and back in each time I'm done catching up on posts. (Not that doing that workaround takes more than a few seconds.)

I marked the forums as read before I left the site yesterday. The "View posts since last visit" button disappeared when I did that. Today I refreshed on the same tab, new posts, yay. The "view posts since last visit" button is also back. I clicked on the button, and I have posts in the list dating back since January 9, still. :(

The "Posts since last visit" feature was in a broken state for a while now, and the recent Activity Indicators addition did nothing to change the behavior of that page. There was a discussion a while back about just removing the page once we had better-working alternatives, but apparently nobody got around around to actually removing the button. I'd say this broken feature is unlikely to change until the hardware is upgraded.

Fixed. The new site tells exactly where the error is, I love it!

I missopened an issue about it : Taken from the very old forum thread for the change of Vault tier suggested by Samsara and some others. Back in the day, Vault was so underrated that Vault movies had no chances for beeing watched but even today, all Moons and Standard movies that aren't Recommended for newcomers don't have a lot of chances to be watched by people that aren't really on the site so this feature still applies. So the suggestion is to add under the featured movie on the Main Page a movie randomly taken from all TASvideos movies.

I haven't necessarily followed all the discussions but is the "Movie Publishing History" page finished ? https://tasvideos.org/MoviePublishingHistory It would seem that the complete list only stops after a certain number of movies. Or is it planned not to show everything?

This [4070] GBC Spirou: The Robot Invasion by ViGadeomes & zoboner in 17:34.46 is wrongly considered as a GB movie instead of GBC.

There does not appear to be a way to add new games to the Wiki: Addresses-List page. Either that, or I don't have the proper permissions. But I can still edit Wiki: GameResources. Furthermore, the Edit links for the address lists seem to be messed up. Some examples:
  • Trying to edit A2600 Barnstorming leads to a page that says Genesis Chiki Chiki Boys
  • Trying to edit A2600 Bobby is Going Home leads to a 404
  • Trying to edit GBC Bionic Commando: Elite Forces leads to a 404
  • Trying to edit NES Wizards & Warriors III: Kuros: Visions of Power leads to a page that says NES Super Mario Bros. 2
Current Projects: TAS: Wizards & Warriors III.

Can you upload the movie somewhere that you are trying to submit?

Will the password generators page make a comeback, or was it decided that it's outside of TASVideos's scope and needs to be hosted elsewhere? I did find a page of similar generators on cah4e3's site, and there is also now a GitHub page of source code for generators based on Bisqwit's YouTube series. It would be neat to learn how to put together more such generator forms as more games are cracked...

The site is able to upload it fine without the zip file User movie #637833467812144281. Is there's something up with how you're zipping up your file with your program of choice that's making the error?

Disables Comments and Ratings for the YouTube account. These colours are pretty neato, and also these.

It looks like the site has an issue with parsing .gmv files compressed into .zip files. A quick solution because your file is small enough: You can submit it in an uncompressed .zip file.

I assume that's because you have the editor role.

Maybe that was part of the new site and I just never noticed.

Yes, you have the admin tab because you have access to pages that are in the admin tab due to your editor role. Maybe admin isn't the best word choice for the tab now. Once upon a time only admins had access to those things, but menu items got shuffled around and so did permissions.

When I try to create a new gamegroup by pressing the "Create" button at https://tasvideos.org/GameGroups/List Its shows the following error:
An unexpected error has occurred. The information has been logged and will be investigated as we continue to improve the reliability of the site.
Does it mean this a known bug, or do editors not have the permission to create game groups?

Requesting that the "minor edit" wording for wiki and forum changes be changed to something like "trigger Discord / IRC notification" and be unchecked by default. I believe that would clarify what that feature does.
