i havent been able to use the recording function on dolphin without the movie detecting the savefile, how can i start a movie from a clean slate? and what is the option to use the savefile instead?
TAS i'm interested: megaman series: mmbn1 all chips, mmx3 any% psx glitched fighting games with speed goals in general

there isn't an option, for gamecube remove the memory card in configuration or something and that'd probably be enough assuming you don't need the memory card. Otherwise you have to move the save file out of the folder every time you start recording.

ok... but then how will i produce a verification movie file for the TAS if i removed the memory card? EDIT> if you could post a link of a video or a guide on how the whole thing is done, i'd really appreciate that.

Keep the memory card inserted, but delete all the saves on the memory card.
