I found another use for the Ignis glitch that might have some use. When you transition into a room while Ignis shots are active, you'll be able to open all chests at once in the room you transition into. The only limitation is that it can't open blue chests that are not revealed yet. As far as I know, Ignis glitches only work when you transition right (just like you do in the lighthouse). I don't remember seeing them working when transitioning left. This could be used to open some out of the way chests along with less out of the way one. Probably only useful in either 100% and Any% NG+ since Ignis is kinda out of the way to get in Any%

The Ignis glitch first be found by 流莹夏LYX, and tsyahu has made a lot of test. https://tieba.baidu.com/p/4673602155 Include this boss killed glitch. https://www.bilibili.com/video/av5359860/ Sorry, I don't have much time to translate all of them.

After all these years, another oob trick for OoE was found while I was making a test run. If a room transition happened without Shanoa touching the floor, interrupt the game and load suspended data, then Shanoa will be put back to where she enter this room at the first frame, but somehow 1 px higher. Doing a suspending save again will make Shanoa 1 more px higher, causing a total 2 px ascending even into ceiling (will be push back immediately though). By doing this repeatly, Shanoa's hitbox will be gradually buried in ceiling and eventually out of bounds. Shanoa's hitbox is 48 px high. Since it can be overlapped with ceiling by 1 px, you need at least 47 suspendings to perform a ceiling clip. The good news is that morphing glyph (e.g. Arma Chiroptera) lowers Shanoa's hitbox by 12 px from head. So by using morphing glyph, it takes only 35 suspendings. NOTICING THAT YOU CAN'T DO THIS TRICK AT THE RIGHT SIDE OF A ROOM, since you will be forced to the next room before menu can be called. This trick allows reaching to Final Approach without Custos glyphs. Sadly, Dracula fight will not be triggered due to skipping Custos event. So I guess it's kinda useless for the run.

When I tried to do it on the left of the Custos gate room, there seems to be a few frames where I could save the game again before being pushed to the right. In fact, I think this is the only way to reach Final Approach early via this glitch because the actual Custos gate room does not allow Suspend to be used. I suppose this glitch technically allows skipping revisits to Minera Prison Island and Tymeo Mountains by saving the villagers on the first visits, but it's probably not worth it. I found a major skip involving getting to Final Approach early to get the wings in combination with Boss Rush OoB in replay mode (as in the game has been completed once). Link to video. Apparently, after beating Death in Boss Rush, any room visited will be marked as having all of its events completed. Visiting the Custos gate room in this state would allow triggering the Dracula fight after saving and reloading.

You're right, there's only 1 frame before being pushed back. So it's possible to perform a rightward transition clip in TAS situations. But my way to Final Approach is suspending in the room that is opposite to your side and slide back within certain 3 frames at the last time reloading. The early wings and Boss Rush OoB combination looks fascinating. It will probably be a good strat in NG+ runs I guess.
