32-bit use the DynaRec core, GLideN64 video plugin, and Z64 HLE Video RSP plugin. 64-bit use the CEN64 core and GLideN64 video plugin. Recording in 32-bit I can only save up to 1GB in TAStudio, It is supposed to transfer from memory to disk, but it crashes every time. 64-bit removed the one necessity needed to play because of the cries. Cries crash on Interpreter and Pure Interpreter cores. There's no way to disable it unlike in games like The World Is Not Enough. I also was going to metronome battles too...

Has the Transfer Pak functionality been implemented in BizHawk? (I'm assuming that it would require multi-disk bundling like the dex completion TAS for red/blue does)
Adventures in Lua When did I get a vest?

not sure but the more i think about it, the time it could gain would be negligible unless you have some very absurd pokemon, like amazing speed and movesets, it should go a lot similar when compared to the current strats for the gym leader castle
I want all good TAS inside TASvideos, it's my motto. TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.

only werster runs the japanese edition, it's pretty much shorter and has less rental options, TAS could copy some, RNG manip some other fights for full Tauros, Aerodactyl or Starmie Crit Spam Link to video 2h38min we also have list of rentals to study: https://www.serebii.net/stadiumjp/rental.shtml speed tiers and crit chances: https://www.smogon.com/rb/articles/speed_tiers Persian, Kadabra is unavailable Notable pokemon in level 30: Aerodactyl HP: 97 Attack: 77 Defense: 53 Speed: 92 Special: 50 Hyper Beam Agility Fly Take Down Pinsir HP: 88 Attack: 89 Defense: 74 Speed: 65 Special: 47 Vicegrip Seismic Toss Guillotine Swords Dance Notable pokemon in level 50: Nidoking HP: 176 Attack: 132 Defense: 117 Speed: 125 Special: 115 Earthquake Fury Attack Horn Drill Double Kick HP: 155 Attack: 115 Defense: 125 Speed: 155 Special: 140 Recover Minimize Thunderbolt Hydro Pump

97 / 98 Pocket Monster Stadium is pretty stable in both Mupen64 and Ares core, i considered TASing it but it would be nice to have the animation frames for most rental pokemon moves, i'm studying a reliable way of getting that information, i'm considering 2player battles as a way to do this. I copied this sheet from the speedrun.com site and will start updating with animation for rentals only. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YSBSZu3zE00IdlxzayASF7W9WpSb9jjYAdIy211D1nM/edit?gid=1985751962#gid=1985751962

I made a small mistake, I chose Tauros as the main victim for tests, i wanted a pokemon i wouldn't super effective hit, but he's fast which doesn't let me test guillotine appropriately. Still the overall result is no contact moves are faster Gyarados Surf Electrode and Nidoking Thunder or the latter's earthquake. Aerodactyl Hyper Beam, the exception is Fire blast from Arcanine. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YSBSZu3zE00IdlxzayASF7W9WpSb9jjYAdIy211D1nM/edit?gid=1985751962#gid=1985751962 I'm gonna test Pinsir movepool against Snorlax and make comparisons against Tauros. Electrode would probably be the ultimate pokémon if he could Solo everyone... Pinsir comparison Snorlax Guillotine 5695-6583= 888 ( it kills lol) SesmicT 5603-6084 = 481 Tauros SesmicT 5294-5837= -543 Ditto Guillotine 8615-9265 = -650 (9005 i suspect is the animation end of guillotine which would make it -390 without the death scene, making it one of the fastest attacks)~ Ditto SesmicT with death 12249-12995 -746 Guillotine is 96 frames faster than SeismicT so it should be around 447 on Tauros without the death animation counting.
