PSXJin has a bit of a bug which causes every video dump to be slightly wrong (one column of pixels is missing). More information: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12560 Encoders should switch to svn718 or newer for dumping. In my personal opinion, existing encodes should not be redumped. It's not really a big issue; just one that there's no reason to repeat in the future. There doesn't appear to be an official build out yet, so here's an unofficial one: svn718, release, built with MSVC 2010 http://www.mediafire.com/?65hg9gafeo55bql

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but I dumped some movies through PSXjin v2.0.2 svn0. Does it have this bug as well? If it does, then are my movies compatible with svn718, so I can make they run there without desync?

Every PSXjin movie should run on SVN718 (based on my own experience).

So, I take it v2.0.2 svn0 has this bug as well, right? I just want to confirm because I'm a bit lazy to record stuff all over again.

the "svn0" release is actually only a revision or two behind this build; there are no emulation differences

Should we start using this version (r726 - 2013). It is able to sync v2.0.2 svn0 like svn718 was able to do. Also it allows more games be TASed to the table which svn718 cannot do (due to crashes etc. eg Ape Escape).

Link to download is dead. Opening the web page loads normally, but the download link in that webpage isn't. Edit: Wanted to re-encode [2022] PSX Final Fantasy IX by Lil_Gecko in 7:37:12.28 because it's in 720p30 in single video, and the other one, while it's in HD, it's split to 4 sections.

I mean yeah-- you're bumping a thread from 2014... so-- yeah.
