This is a 454 frame improvement compared to Submission # 7557. The main technique is to hold down to control the height of the character during the jumping process. There is also control over horizontal coordinates and some minor changes in the process. For more details, please refer to the previous submission.

So aiqiyou asked to replace the submission with a userfile, which is of a significantly faster run that's sub-9. Why did they upload it as a userfile, instead of making an entirely new submission?

It only matters if there was feedback that plaid a role in the run's judgment and the movie changed, so it'd need new feedback. If there was no feedback to begin with, it really doesn't matter if it's a new submission or an old updated one.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.
