Samsara: For a brief explanation of what this is, this is just a hack that gives Simba infinite jumps and roar. The hack has no known patch file, so no link to the hack will (or ever should) be provided unless an IPS/BPS is found or created.
The author has requested cancellation.
One last quick note: Out of curiosity, I played around with the hack for a bit myself with no prior knowledge of even the base game and found some actually pretty fun tech in it. Based off of the published run, I think a fully optimized run of this hack would probably be a high 7:XX at the very least, with a lot more room to discover how else infinite jumping can be broken.

Hmm. So, from what I can find, the ROMHack just makes the game easier by changing how the roar meter works and giving infinite lives. Not really enough different from the normal game for me. Also, I can only find one download source for the hack, which is a google drive link in the description of a youtube video about the hack. The other site mentioned in the hack gave a SSL Security Error message when I tried to check it, too, and trying to visit the main page for the site the link was pointing to showed a page from one of those domain parking companies. Lots of red flags on this one. I suspect that whoever ends up judging this one will probably not be happy.

I don't think this is an appropriate game/goal (or speedrun.com leaderboard, for that matter.) It effectively just adds an infinite jump hack to the game. It would be one thing if the content of the game was changed to basically make it a different game, but that's not the case here. Maybe you could put your effort towards finding new stuff in the real game instead.

As I said on Discord, you can cancel your own submission by setting the Submission Status to Canceled rather than wait on a judge to make a decision. This would save both your time and the judge's time if you don't believe this will be accepted for publication.
