Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is a game released for the Game Boy in 1992 based on the movie, and its a side scrolling one. The game has 6 stages, a hotel, Central Park, a cave, an old house the streets of the city, and a christmas tree. People try to get you and chase you.
NOTES
Plaza Hotel: I made Kevin go in each room to get powerups in order to get to the 16th floor and the service room.
Central Park: This was difficult, there was many rock climbing to do and so many bat avoiding.
Cave: Somehow a candy cane popped up in the background to avoid the bats from hurting Kevin. Sorry if I was slow.
Old House: It was very tricky to go and the keys were difficult but video games are challenging. The bowling ball in that room i made Kevin go to was pushable and which made me reach the R key, there was also a pit that let to get the X key somehow or i don't know.
The Streets: There were so many flying objects so there is not much that i have to say.
Christmas Tree: The christmas tree was the last stage, you had the ability to shout out "HELP!" with the UP button. To do that the man drops bags on Marv and Harry.

nymx: Claiming for judging.
nymx: Greetings Carticart7, and welcome to our community!
As mentioned in the discussion thread, your current run doesn’t quite meet our expectations for achieving competitive times. The existing world record completes the game in roughly half the time of your TAS.
From what I’ve observed, there are several moments where time is lost—particularly during item farming that doesn’t appear to contribute to a faster completion, as well as visits to areas that don’t seem to support time-saving strategies.
I completely understand the excitement of submitting a run with hopes of publication—it’s something many of us can relate to. For future attempts, I recommend using all available resources to optimize your approach. A good starting point would be to review existing TAS examples, such as this unpublished run , or compare your performance against the Human World Record. Doing so will help you gauge your progress and develop a truly competitive strategy.
I'm sorry to give you a bad start here, but I'm rejecting this run...due to optimization.

Hello Carticart7 and welcome to TASVideos! Unfortunately your TAS is slower than the WR RTA run that clocks in at 9 minutes 9 seconds. Please take your time and use the tools available to you in BizHawk and use the userfiles. Go again when you've optimized all you can.
