I'm back with another TAS 2 players! Unlike my Office Yeo In Cheon Ha 2 Players in 1 control published run https://tasvideos.org/6899M , This game, Urachacha Mudaeri, I'll do in 2 players in 1 control and finish this game as fast as possible. I'm going to beat GTFoxN6Y0899's 14m 09s 481ms run and set my WR to sub 13 minutes!
However, some minigames (such as Stage 13, Stage 15, etc.) indicates the example, such as a man with a gun to follow and shoot, have to wait until it disappears and then skip. And the ski minigame, I noticed P2 CPU was extremely dodging the obstacles, did not get hit at all. The game's speed is normal but the sound has imperfect emulation.
Because this video is not no-miss or no life lost, I'll gonna to beat as fast as possible instead of GTFoxN6Y0899 does. Unlike GTFoxN6Y0899's video https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638191462508611516 , I'll just end by stepping on the paper instead of surviving until the end. That will lost 1 life for all 3 players.
1 player or 3 players is useless to finish, I'll use 2 players in 1 control with P1 and P3 to smash CPU P2 waiting. However, for snowboarding ski minigame, CPU P2 finish 1st, and P3 finishes 2nd. However for P1, I supposed that it will lose P1 life. Unlike Office Yeo In Cheon Ha https://tasvideos.org/4961G , Urachacha Mudaeri has 24 stages (there are 2 extra stages).
Extended input can be founded here: https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/639019125656419521 .

Game Objectives

  • Use the latest BizHawk emulator (right now I'm using BizHawk ver 2.11)
  • Finish as fast as possible
  • Uses 2 players in 1 control

  • Several minigames (such as opening minigame) need to show example then to skip it
  • Achieves 1CC
  • Minigames such as bus chasing, snowboard ski and chasing without stepping the paper needs fail to lose 2 lives
  • 3 lives setting
1 player TAS takes longer time? Don't worry, 2 players will help to smash CPU P2 waiting to finish the minigame. Other than GTFoxN6Y0899 https://tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/GTFoxN6Y0899 , these stages to end the minigame fast provided on the stages overview.

Stages overview

Stage 1

Press the correct color grip to climb up to reach the goal. Pressing the wrong color will fall back to 1 grip. It's best to finish time in 5s 30ms (compared to GTFoxN6Y0899's time is 5s 31ms) in just two players, but P1 gets 1st and P3 gets 2nd.

Stage 2

Press red and blue buttons together (this needs 4 frames to keep pressing) to chase the bus and press the yellow button to get in the bus.

However, only either one of the players, such as P1, P2 or P3 to get 1st, but other two players retired.

Stage 3

Study the following 6 Korean text/words given on the board, then choose the correct one. I wanted P1 to get 2nd because P3 needs to get 1st to keep on going.

Stage 4

Following the cards that are spinning and changing, press the button that matches the picture of the card. If either player press the button that is not the same picture, it will not get point.

Stage 5

Press the given indicated color to get the pork and score a point. If players did not get the pork or the pork has burnt, it won't get points.

Stage 6

Avoid getting hit by the obstacles by pressing the yellow button to dodge. I'm not doing the same as GTFoxN6Y0899 but I want to get CPU P2 1st and P3 myself 2nd because I wanted to finish faster.

This is very useful to avoid getting tie break, unless all the players (including P1, P3 myself and CPU P2) survived until the end gets 1st encounters tie break.

Stage 7

Choose the correct answer given to the question and press the button to get point.

Stage 8

Avoid step and caught by the man and survive until 15.00 to get clear to end the minigame. Because the speed is fast, both players managed to gets 1st and CPU P2 was fail to avoid, so both players needs to mash the buttons in order to get 1st and 2nd.

For alternate run, it's best to step on the paper and caught by a man laughs the player to avoid tie break and end the minigame.

Stage 9

Follow the instructions given by the man says and press blue to turn left, press yellow to squad down or stand up and press red to turn right. The man will throw the hammer to the player if the player presses the wrong button and not follow instructions.

Stage 10

Mash red and blue buttons every 4 frames then press yellow button to end faster by finishing within 2 players 02.13 by not bothering CPU. Continue repeat the process until it's better.

Stage 11

The dance minigame has multiple buttons. It comes 2 buttons, 3 buttons, 4 buttons, 5 buttons, 6 buttons and 7 buttons. Study the pattern of the beat, then press the following button in order to get either "Good" or "Great" and score point. I must leave P3 to get 2nd because I wanted only CPU P2 to get last place.

I was failed to get correct all 7 buttons but it's still okay for both players, unless CPU gets a single point.

Stage 12

Avoid let the soccer ball reach the goal net by blocking the ball given to the following color. If the ball reaches the goal net, it will lose 1 point.

Stage 13

Given the picture of the man holding the gun, press the indicated button to take out the man with a gun to score 10 points. If players hit a wrong person, it will lose 10 points.

Stage 14

Same method as Stage 7.

Stage 15

Study the person running the path until it reaches the stop sign then press yellow button to stop at the area to score 1 point. If either player fall off the cliff you won't get points.

Stage 16

Following the arrow that is pointed to the green poisonous thing, press the indicated button to block the person bottom and score 1 point.

Stage 17

Press the correct color button to get the food and score 1 point. The plate will crack and the food thrown away if the player presses the wrong color button.

Stage 18

Press the indicated color of the watermelon to score 10 points and press red and blue altogether then press yellow button to repeat the sequence. CPU P2 fail to finish because both players finish faster.

Stage 19

Press the button indicated to the person farting with a following color to score 1 or 2 points. Pressing the wrong button that is not farting will not get point but doing weird actions.

Stage 20

Avoid get caught by the crane by pressing blue to move left, red to move right and yellow to jump. The cranes was limit to 3, but this is getting crazy to avoid getting caught to all the players gets 1st. At the end, all players gets 1st.
Let's move on to— WAIT A MINUTE...?
I have to explain this situation.
How can the tie break comes after finishing the minigame?! If this VS minigame wasn't used, this wasted 6.90 seconds in my video. I was supposed to proceed to the next stage but I have no choice for CPU get last place because I have to mash the buttons fast to see it determines the players reach 1st and 2nd place. I could have no tie break but it doesn't, so I did it.

Stage 21

Same method as Stage 7. I led P3 to get 1 point then P1 get 2 points.

Stage 22

Press red and blue buttons to move, avoid getting hit by pressing the yellow button to prevent attack. Either player reaches the boss and hit it to score 1 point.

Stage 23

Press red for black paper, and press blue to print gives 1 point. However if the player press wrong button it will give an "X" mark. I have to led P3 to score 1 point in order to avoid getting tie break.

Stage 24

Avoid getting drunk by moving only blue button for left and red button for right. It's safe to end by getting both players finish then CPU P2 get last.

Stage 25

Press blue and red button together to move and if the player reaches the orange circle press the yellow button to reach either red or orange to score 2 points for red bar or 1 point for orange bar.

Stage 26

Looking far ahead of the three men throwing money, press blue for left, red for right and yellow to jump to catch money for 1 point. Keep repeat the pattern until the minigame end by getting 1st and 2nd for both players.

Conclusion and final results

At the end of the video, my final time is 13m 41s 288ms, which means I surpassed GTFoxN6Y0899's 14m 09s 481ms time by 28s 193ms, so this is my ultimate world record! I did it for my first time because I studied GTFoxN6Y0899 video for my guides.

Special Thanks

CoolHandMike: Claiming for judging.
CoolHandMike: Unfortunately, this game has one mini-game with objectionable content. While the rest of the game looks fine, it is just that one part. This objectionable minigame made in the 90s Korea was a comedic attempt using flashing events. While it may have been acceptable at the time, it is not acceptable here. The minigame is not explicit, and it is done in a comedic way, so it could be worse. However, at the end of the day, this is not something we want on the site.
Ku_Zheng_Kai: Due to rejected submission and the video didn't have published, there's no new video by YouTube. Which means no publication run for this game. I have no choice for my run to be accepted forever in this game.

Need to point this out. The author is glossing over the fact that on Stage 16 the main characters are flashing children.

I think this is going to require a larger discussion of content warnings versus truly unacceptable games and the line that’s drawn. The game is not pornographic in nature, the minigame is presented as off color crude humor and the characters are not portrayed as morally correct in doing this. This is not an attempt to justify the content prematurely, rather laying out the facts so that the relevant parties can judge. I also think good faith should be assumed in the submission. I don’t think Ku intentionally tried to hide unacceptable content, nor do I presume that they would consider something like this acceptable in real life.

Only the tops of the heads are shown from behind for the "audience", but the voices are high pitched but could be adults. The background kind of looks like a Japanese school too so might be kids. I do understand that this is done in a slapstick manner with a lot of censoring(?) mosaic and odd animals over the waist area, so it is implied rather than explicitly showing anything. There are a lot of "nude" comedy in shows / movies which maybe this is what the game was going for, but have not seen anything quite like this. A decision needs to be made about whether this should be allowed on the site. If it is allowed a content warning might be warranted too. Personally I am on the fence here, because it is not clear what exactly is going on due to the way the game frames this minigame.

Yeah... I think I wanna talk about that part, too. When I first discovered it myself back in 2021, It looked what seemed like a normal minigame for a korean arcade game, until when I looked at it a bit closer today... thinking to myself "yeah, that's p*rno in a fu**ing korea arcade game. wtf." I doubt korea people in 2002 discovered this themselves and didn't think it was weird to them like it is to us America people.

So, Zheng Kai Ku. As mentioned on stage 6, you wanted P2/CPU to get in first place. But was there a way to finish that minigame any faster than your current time? I was sorta thinking the later logs that was seen in the TAS might've improved your trip speed, and having player 1 crush land in the snow too soon felt a little boring watching. What could've been done here was Player 1 would've tripped a bit later and Player 3 would tripped around the last third log to save some frames. Overall, the TAS did somewhat feel optimized enough despite the spedup video which messed up the audio a little bit. Fortunately, I'll show my kindness towards the work you put into this. Yes vote.

Perhaps I can provide some context. In South Korea during early 2000s (the country & era this game was released in), awareness of sexism and sexual assault was... not great. This scene is a reference to 바바리맨("Burberry men"), a form of flashers in Korea typically wearing Burberry trench coats, usually targeting women and children. While undeniably a crime, they hadn't been taken seriously and were mostly ridiculed during this era, to the point of being used as a comedy material like in this game. The background says 은비여고("Eunbi(name) Girls' High School"), so yeah, they are kids. When searching for more context, you'll have better chance with using the Korean word rather than English.

Not great. Thanks for the context.

Oh my god. Thanks for pointing that out, I really really needed to hear what this was originated from. While the Burberry trench coats seem fine enough, the flashing at women and children part is way too inappropriate for us america folks. It's surely insane to hear a Korea user come out to this and spoke to us about the lack of sexism and SA control that was going on in South Korea.
