I'm not sure if you are seeing these comments here in this section, so I will post the same in the thread. Please try and use all resources available to figure out how to optimize your work. This is your fourth submission and the idea of improving is not being demonstrated.

i made a 121 frames improvement for this TAS (https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/639064487674548167 . i dont think this game is worth publication for being too short, kinda janky and generally not interesting. but it is all up to the judge, i recommend reworking this.
EDIT: also, beatgame% is not needed as a goal. putting nothing is generally enough if the goal is not alternative
Ya know, MarioSonicTASer, if you want I could teach you a little bit more of optimizing your TAS for a more interesting audience review. For example, my Mario Party 9 TAS has a audience review of 100 users. Not too big on the discussion thread, but more likely on a value that matches my submissions standards.
"audience review"? You mean, 100 views, which isn't a useful metric of quality. That's not a unique quantity of people either, just that the video was viewed/opened approximately 100 times. Your encode has received 2 likes so far, but otherwise no one has "reviewed" it.
More importantly, whether intentional or not, the way you've worded your post comes off as exceptionally rude, as if you're more interested in building yourself up than the person you're talking to. It'd be better if you could offer specific, constructive, feedback on their submitted work. If you have some knowledge that is applicable to this game and could help the author improve, then feel free to offer it up in this thread.

What ,,Bigbass'' said your submission was viewed by 100 people (Including me XD)

ty for the mention, i think i have to say that this looks better than previous works done by you and at the surface looked optimized but a thing i noticed is lack of experimenting new tech, strats, routes, etc... specially for a game that has never been TASes before you should focus in trying out stuff, of course you will get better on it just by TASing but you have to at least try in order to have progress. for example, the trick of going below the level is super easy to replicate and took me no more than 10 minutes to get it, this shows that this TAS just blindly followed the intended route what is not encouraged and generally not enough to make a good TAS https://tasvideos.org/Guidelines#KeepingAnOpenMind i also recommend using TAStudio instead of simple Movie Recording as on TAStudio even tho the TAS takes much longer to make, is much easier to guarantee everything is optimized and testing new strategies.

You’re right. suppose I should’ve mentioned that it was 100 views in the YouTube video and not the submission (I was thinking the wrong thing while writing this post, but the author bugged me to review this submission/video). I apologize for the mean wording and I’ll just say that from now on I’ll just give feedback to the author and not telling them about the false information that has anything to do with this topic. Sorry again, MarioSonicTASER.

What about TAStudio. I used tas studio
thats great!most new TASers end up using simple movie recording, as you are using TAStudio is already a good start. take your time to learn not only the most common optimization tricks https://tasvideos.org/GameResources/CommonTricks but also the game itself, most optimization knowledge actually comes from game to game and not the ones from the wiki i just sent, tho it is still useful to keep in mind. that said, im looking further to furture TASes made by you

ShgofcTAS, I have one question. You have proven that this submission is unoptimal. Because you stated that it needs additional work, I am guessing that you do not want to offer your inputs as an improvement to be a co-author of this TAS. Correct?
I recently discovered that if you haven't reached a level of frustration with TASing any game, then you haven't done your due diligence.
----
SOYZA: Are you playing a game?
NYMX: I'm not playing a game, I'm TASing.
SOYZA: Oh...so its not a game...Its for real?

Anybody got a Quantum computer I can borrow for 20 minutes?
Nevermind...eien's 64 core machine will do. :)

my inputs were made quickly and definitely can be further improved. aside from that i still think this game is generally not interesting from a TASing standpoint so yea, i prefer not to be a co-author

Ok. Thank you. Then i can proceed with judgement.
As for the game not being interesting, that used to be a factor with the old rules...which were replaced about 3 years ago. This would be a "Standard" classification, which basically means we are going for the fastest version of 100%, any%, or some other completion category.

I don't know if you are aware of the comments that are left in your submission, but we provide them upon judging. The comment below is something that you need to take in consideration, as staff would likely disable your account if you continue to submit unoptimized movies.
