I don't know if it's a setting I haven't enabled, but when I play the first Mario Party on the N64, it runs slowly, and even increasing or decreasing the emulator speed doesn't make a difference. It just lags, and I have to play like that. If anyone can help me figure out what's happening, I'd really appreciate it. I'd like to be able to play this game smoothly because the Monopoly format with minigames is fun.

I would try switching cores to see if there’s any difference. It could also be too high of a resolution you’re trying to play it on. Some more info could help such as what version of bizhawk you’re using and the exact title of the rom you’re playing.

Alright. Did you try the other options I mentioned?

I've tried Mupen and Ares, and the FPS drops as well. My visual settings are: user prescale: 1, scaling filter: none, final filter: none
