Koopa Troopa failed to save the Solo mode TAS last time, so what does he do? Time Attack of course!!
Welcome to yet another Mario Party 9 TAS that goes through a different category and levels of optimization, of course the goal here is beating the WR but nonetheless, let's get to the point here.

To sync for Publishers

Only player one's Wii Remote + Nunchuk and zero Gamecube controllers.

Minigame order

Without having to switch or change any minigames around, the order is pretty simple. One being speedy, the other being a playaround. By default settings, the minigame order is Snow Go, Jigsaw Jumble, Peak Precision, Speeding Bullets, Chain Event, Ballistic Beach, Upward Mobility, Pizza me, Mario, Flinger Painting (which with a load state will erase all of the painting ever spatted on the white sheet), and last but not least Pit or Platter.

Snow Go

Basically like multiplayer, race to the end as fast as possible.

Jigsaw Jumble

Grab the correct puzzle piece in time.

Peak Precision

Easy as cake

Speeding Bullets

Hit the most speedup checkpoints to save time.

Chain Event

Avoid all the spike ball

Ballistic Beach

With a cannon, aim at each beach ball with a direct angle.

Upward Mobility

Hop on every mint block to save time.

Pizza me, Mario

Throw toppings on your pizza.

Flinger Painting

An awkward minigame for LUA Core but everything here synced fine.

Pit or Platter

Get 100 points in record time.

OTHER COMMENTS

Just like in my Island Tour Time Attack, I decided to submit this alongside it just so I don't have to worry about submitting a little later than today. Enjoy another one of these xTASz TASes!

It is nice to see a MP9 TAS, but it seems that some minigames are a bit unoptimized In snow go it is better to take the edge of the ramp on every jump, that way you get a better angle for the turn, less air time and more speed Jigsaw Jumble is a RNG nightmare, you depends on the correct piece and the board to land first and quick, but i think it can be manipulated Ballistic Beach, another RNG concern, the first and last shot are the most important ones, you must make the first shot as quickly as possible and the last shot must impact as quickly as possible, that's why you depend on the first and last objective to be as close as possible to the cannon, i think the positions of the objectives can be manipulated too Upward Mobility is unoptimized in this run On flinger painting you must take advantage of the shape of the stains to finish as quickly as possible And pit or platter is unoptimized, it is better to manually enter your inputs from the emulator, rather than using an external controller Meh vote from me
Currently making a route for Super Bomberman 5 200% TASes i'm planning: aero fighters, tg3000 (again), gradius 3, bust a move, bust a move plus, gradius rebirth, smg, smg2, mp9, gh3 (wii)

Flinger painting’s load state does this awkward action where the paint disappears once splatted on the whiteboard which I sometimes have to be lucky enough to get the inputs to sync to finish the Minigame in record time. Did you have this problem too?

Nope, i did not In my own TAS it was as simple as trial and error, the shape of every shot in my TAS was consistent to the same frame, so, i did a shot to a random spot, took note of the shape and later put it right

Ah, ok. It’s just the paint erases itself whenever I load state for me.

No I wasn’t using an external controller. I was using TAS input.

Most of the times in this TAS are slower than their RTA WR counterparts in CyberScore: https://cyberscore.me.uk/games/1029

Again, is there a video I can watch to make improvements to this TAS?

You can literally just click on the "YouTube" link each Cyberscore video has. You don't even have to look at the top run in some cases since for Snow Go, you're slower than fourth place which does have a video. Link to video Chain Event might be within error for instance. Oh, they don't have runs or is only images? Use the boards on speedrun.com. WR there by Tsov has Balistic Beach having a personal PB of 12.28 and that run getting a 12.90 which clocks in better than your 13.78. Tsov's personal PB on Pizza Me, Mario is a 32.65 compared to your 34.41. Flinger Painting? Tsov PB is a 12.86 which is a far cry to top run on Cyberscore, but their 14.40 clears your 15.90.

You aren't using your resources and you aren't searching properly if you're making questions such as this. Another instance to join the Mario Party Discord which is found in that srcom link I provided. Ask questions, get answers. Provide what you know, get information about what to do next.

My apology, I should’ve said where I can find the video on Cyberscore because my access to Speedrun.com on my phone isn’t available. I was more likely referring to the Island Tour time attack TAS, though.

You might need to have the "Save Texture Cache to State" setting enabled for savestates to work correctly there. This setting isn't available in older Dolphin versions like 5.0.

“Save Texture Cache to State”? Never heard of that one.
