My best attempt at a minimum score run.
Corneria - 1 Hit - Fighting either boss is fine. You just have to wait out the timer until the boss is worth 1 hit
Meteo - 0 Hit - Going through the warp means no boss
Katina - 0 Hit - Just waiting out the timer until the stage ends. Fortuna would also work since it's on a timer, too.
Sector X - 0 Hit - Another warp with no boss
Sector Z - 5 Hit - I assumed that 0 Hit would be the best you could do on this level, but that's practically impossible without understanding how enemy ships decide to start following teammates. It seems completely RNG based, and I don't know if it's possible to manipulate every enemy to not follow a teammate at some point. Now why does this matter? Because if your teammate is being followed, then they won't pursue a missile or destroy it. So I have to kill the enemies tailing them to free them up. Each teammate will only destroy 1 missile before returning to the center of the level, so you need all 3 alive and free in order to take down the final set of 3 missiles.
Sector Z - 0 Hit - Just let your teammates do their own thing and have the enemy tailing you destroy the missiles. Thanks to t3h_Icy for pointing this out
Area 6 - 1 Hit - Just waiting out the boss timer until it drops to 1 hit
Venom 2 - 14 Hit - In theory, 0 hits on Team Wolfen should be possible. There are voice lines for when a teammate takes out the final member of the fight, but for whatever reason my teammates would not shoot at the final enemy. So I have to wait out the timer until the final enemy drops to 1 Hit. Team Wolfen also passes right through terrain and columns, so you can't get them to explode themselves. For Andross, you have to wait out the timer on the 1st face phase in order to drop him down to 1 Hit on the brain phase. The eyes are worth 6 points a piece with no known way to reduce it, and even having the eyes shoot each other or ramming them will still give you full points.
Total Score - 16 points
This score is so low that it doesn't even register on the final ranking screen because my verification movie dropped the lowest score from the screen (which was 10 points) to unlock Expert mode, otherwise it would have replaced the #10 ranked spot. I would have to re-do this movie on Normal mode as a first playthrough in order to save my score.... WHICH... might be the secret to having a teammate kill the final member of Team Wolfen which would net you 0 points and a final score of 15. Maybe next year : )

InputEvelution: Replacing movie file with an improvement.

InputEvelution: Claiming for judging.
InputEvelution: This was an interesting run to watch! As someone not very familiar with Star Fox or even rail shooters in general, it was fun seeing a movie go in the opposite direction to what I'd expect by instead avoiding shooting as much as possible, even if it means flying in circles for minutes on end waiting for a boss to weaken itself before landing the final blow. Accepting to Alternative!

For Sector Z, you can damage the missiles to one hit left and then have an enemy ship following you destroy them for 0 points.

Success! Total score now down to 16. Just one away from the theoretical minimum.

For Venom 2, if a teammate is being targeted and you fire at the Star Wolf member who is chasing them, you can flip who is chasing who. When this happens, you get the same voice line as when you save your teammate from being targeted by generic enemy ships. I don't know the mechanics of why it doesn't work all the time though. Your teammates can only ever shoot at their Star Wolf rival. Another thing that can happen to Star Wolf members is if their pathing leads them into one of the pillars with Andross on them, or other parts of the area that stick out from the ground, they can crash and explode. This is how on rare occasion you can get an instant kill while seemingly having done nothing. I couldn't ever seem to get the last one dying this way to not give points, and I even had two Star Wolf members simultaneously shoot each other down, but I would still gain a point. I had actually made a TAS of Low Score a couple years ago, but I had a desynch on Sector X I couldn't fix and gave up lol. I did it on Normal difficulty (the wait times for bosses are much longer) but also couldn't figure out a way to avoid the point on Venom 2 either. I didn't have any allies going into it though, so I haven't experimented with your teammates taking down Star Wolf and what happens. Try quickly having Wolf, Leon, and Andrew all killed, and shoot Pigma so that Peppy instead chases Pigma. Maybe it can save the last point.

I wish I could actually see this happen lol

Neat. I didn’t realize there were pillars with Andross’s face and that they did anything different. I guess by chance every time they only went through a normal pillar and didn’t explode.

I’ve set up this exact scenario in one of my files. I spent hours trying to get Peppy to fire at Pigma to no avail. Even when I can manipulate the rare opportunity that pigma fly in front of peppy he still just does not fire a single shot. It’s been said, though, that falco is the most aggressive ally. I would probably have to have Falco and Leon as the final two left to have a chance at this. But I’m not re-doing Sector Z and Area 6. Maybe next year : )

Even if the Star Wolf members are in front of your teammates, they won't fire unless it's been triggered for your teammates to chase. Here's a random Youtube video example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LplYNroOfhY

So if I understand this correctly, when peppy and Pigma are the only two left I need to actually hit pigma which will occasionally cause peppy to start chasing him? This is neat if true, but also a big headache. I brought pigma down to 1 health very early on, and firing one less shot to keep his health up changes the rng for the rest of the level. This is a problem because it was basically pure luck to get Star wolf in the way of enemy fire so that he wouldn’t be the last one left. I’m currently working on it, so we’ll see. I hope.

Unfortunately, I don't know any more of the details on what makes it work only some of the time. When successful, you'll get the voice lines that you've saved them from being attacked, such as Peppy: "Your father helped me like that too!", Slippy: "Woo! That was too close!", and Falco: "Gee, I've been saved by Fox, how swell!". They then say the same voice lines as when they're hunting down enemies on Fortuna, Katina, etc. I don't know if it's factored by RNG, health of your teammate or Star Wolf rival, how many of Star Wolf are left, if you need a full team, or any other variable. I also have no idea if doing all this will result in 0 points as it could be the case that defeating the entire Star Wolf team always gives points for the last member. As mentioned when I tried TASing it, no matter what I did, I always gained points after the last member was defeated (although I had no teammates alive in my attempt). However, if you pull off the idea and still get points anyway, at least you'll have confirmed the minimum score.

No luck on my end getting it to work out. I’m content with this submission as is.
