Mirror House Cornflakes TAS movie work started in 27.03.2026 (DD.MM.YYYY) at 22:48, completed in 28.03.2026 at 00:22.
One of previously unknown mini tech demo games for Nintendo's upcoming new home game console at the time initially called Ultra 64 was never meant to be publicly shown until it got leaked on the Internet as part of the "Nintendo Gigaleak" event happened throughout 2020.
It includes a manual that tells for developers to understand how it works, which is written something like this:
(A house of mirrors is an amusement park attraction in which the walls of a maze are covered with mirrors.)
TO BEGIN
This software is a 3D maze game. The character (Flake) is manipulated to reach the goal (corn flakes).
STORY
A cheerful little boy named Flake just loves corn flakes.
One day, Flake heard talk of a mysterious castle that was filled with corn flakes. "I can't just sit here! I'm gonna go find those cornflakes!"
OBJECTIVE
Reach the goal within the allotted time. If you don't make it, Flake's stomach will go empty and the game will be over.
HOW TO PLAY
• START Button - Start Game
• Control Stick Up/Down/Left/Right - Move Flake
- UP: Move toward back of screen.
- DOWN: Move toward front of screen.
- LEFT: Move to left.
- RIGHT: Move to right.
- (When moved at an angle, Flake will move in the two directions at once.)
• A Button - Select character.
• B Button - Quit in the middle of the game.
• R Button - Enter/leave HELP screen mode (to view the maze from above).
• Other buttons - Not used.
MISCELLANEOUS
Corn flakes are floating here and there throughout the maze. When Flake touches these, he gets to eat them.
When this happens, HELP access times are added.
This written manual text ends here.
I also wanted to point out that you can skip MONEGI screen at the very beginning by pressing START button to quickly reach this game's title screen.
In SELECT PLAYER screen, 3 other Flakes are exactly the same, so I picked the first and only character in this little tech demo game, so I don't see why it needs to be repeated 3 more times.

During in-game, pushing Control Stick too hard (internally) on left or down - Flake doesn't move either these two directions.
After reaching "GOAL!" exit, the game restarts. Same thing happens after getting GAME OVER.
Since Flake just loves corn flakes according to the manual, I made another TAS movie that collects all (two (2)) cornflakes, and also reaches the exit goal in record time (as far as my effort goes).
Mirror House Cornflakes "all (2) cornflakes" TAS movie work started in 28.03.2026 (DD.MM.YYYY) at 23:16, completed in 29.03.2026 at 00:30.
This is my first ever TASVideos movie submission. Expect my sub-optimal movements here and there throughout. Feel free to improve this movie (or this submission text, or both, there's a chance that I would likely unable to apply your improvements for especially on this existing movie).
I like that the letter 'F' in that shirt Flake's wearing also stands for "Fast". Not "Fortnite", you floppy funny fighter fool!
Speaking of that, Happy April Fools day! I would be surprised if this gets accepted and published on YouTube channel TASVideosChannel.
Tegron: This TAS looks well optimized to get through the maze faster even faster than the
RTA.
