This version is much more basic and now I'm dealing with lag
The main weapons are quite weak compared to other ports And it's not really worth using
I didn't buy almost anything from that store on the menu Because choosing from the menu takes too long
Now the sword in this version has become very strong compared to the main armor
3:50 This one works really well as a primary weapon But then they become useless on other stages
5:34 I have to stop shooting at this part because it lags too much
This game doesn't cause much lag, but it can happen if you play it at extreme So sometimes I stop shooting
I will avoid taking damage Because it suffers a delay and I can't shoot anymore Compared to the other port
the WR is 28m27s

nymx: Claiming for judging.
nymx: I'm beginning to notice a pattern here...you love Super Mario World and Auto-scrolling shooter! As with all of the other ones that I have judged, this one meets up with the same level optimization needed to be accepted. I like the fact that you still go after lag, even though this game is well write, that it doesn't show as much as others. Because it is one of my favorite things to eliminate, I actually tried to find spot and see if I could remove it. Well, I found one and was able to remove it, but things changed a bit afterwards (understandably). So...I only see another win for thegugafá, seeing that you clearly have surpassed human ability by roughly 1 minutes. Great job!
Oh...I ran upon something interest, during my analysis of this game. When I went to compare it to a speedrun, I saw that one of my buddies (who I have met in person) has the world record on the Turbo Graphics console...EODTex. He was in the very first community that I joined, Super Metroid. Wow...how time flies by, 12 years later.

voting no, from the notes it sounds like this is still work in progress (lags) and the intention was just to beat the WR without any other optimization

I've already tried to figure out how to optimize this But it didn't work

Why did you not buy anything from the store? Can you buy better weapons from the store? Where did the timesave over the WR come from?

It's because there's a delay in the menu When I choose the weapons (I lose 16 frames when I do this) And then I'll have to go back and press the exits button That weapons shop isn't very useful https://www.speedrun.com/lords_of_thunder/runs/y2521vjy this

Did you compare the damage output from the weapons in the store?

This is only for power-ups (That's what you get by killing enemies)
