Since this World Cup has been full of surprises, which isn't a surprise, I'd say an England VS. Spain match is pretty likely. England has had a really good performance this year.

Dear god, England threw that one. Classic case of attempting to park the bus at 60 minutes with a lead, and completely surrendering all momentum. Just asking to get opened up. Somehow Argentina just keeps clutching it again, lol

That final must be one of the least close 1-0s (after extra time) I've ever seen. Argentina didn't even get a shot on goal until, what, 115 minutes in? Well done Spain, clearly the best team of the tournament. Very clean tournament run, defeated many good teams along the way. See you again in 4 years?

Yeah, the match stats were very lopsided. Spain winning was not a surprise, especially after the red card. I'm more surprised that it took until extra time to happen. I wonder why Argentina waited so long to go on offense. Based on what I saw in the last few minute, they were clearly able to apply pressure despite being a man down. I wish I would have caught the third-place match. Seems like it was quite the goal-fest.

It honestly wasn't much of a surprise that Spain won. But that goal fest that England had seemed impressive but I didn't watch the match. But very well, guess we'll each other again in 4 years. But who's going to create the forum thread for the next World Cup?
