I was recording my tas, but for some reason, the game started doing other things for some reason??? it changed up something, and ruined ALOT of work, like, BizHawk??? Why???

Can you load your last savestate and return to that? Each state has a copy of your TAS input in it. Once everything is back, be sure to save it normally. BizHawk also backs up your input at times to /Movies/backup. I'm not sure how often.

i don't have savestates! it's probably because I made it in 2.6.2...

every version of BizHawk has save states, you probably dont have them because you need to create them mannually

They're saved with Shift and a function key pressed together, so Shift+F1 is the first state and you can load it later with F1, and so on up to F10. It might be worth reading the Wiki: TasingGuide to see how tools can help make your TAS the best it can be. Regardless, you should look in your BizHawk 2.6.2 folder for a "Movies" folder and a "backup" folder inside that. You just might have your TAS automatically backed up there and not realize it.
