for some reason, every time i pass a frame in TAStudio 3DS, for some reason, it goes all the way back to the start of the TAS and does seeking from there. I just created my TAS, but I know this will ruin it...

If you make a save state (Shift+F1 for example), it should only go back to that state instead of starting over. Savestates help a great deal for making an optimized TAS.

that makes a branch, also, the seeking speed is normal, so if i just went back one frame in like frame 10000 for example, it would go from frame 0 to frame 9999 IN NORMAL SPEED! and I can't even stop it?

If you're using TAStudio, 3DS is a special case where you need to use branches or markers to reserve greenzone. Unlike most other consoles BizHawk supports, 3DS savestates are too large to efficiently save on a continuous basis, so they must be manually placed by the user.

so do i need to add a lot of branches? even doing that still makes it laggy!
