Hehe, I'm not even gonna try to pronounce that, Shinryuu :) In Swedish, "merry christmas" is "God jul". So go say that to all of your friends now, I take for granted that all of you know how to pronounce it ;) Så god jul på er!

Umm, my Spanish is really crappy, but isn't "merry christmas" supposed to be "feliz navidad" or something like that? what's "feliz natal" in that case? I was thinking that "feliz natal" meant something like "good night"... But as I said, my spanish is crappy, so I'm probably way off here :)

Aah you're probably right, Bag. It's probably Portugese now that I think about it. I don't know a smack of that, so that would make more sense.

I'll say this: Gleðileg jól og farsælt komandi ár. I think you can all guess what it means...

Trivial, it means "merry christmas and a happy new year", or something like that. At least I think it's a good guess. :) Islandish (I have no idea if it's called that in English) is kind of similiar to Swedish in a way, actually.

I don't know what Islandish is. Which islands? Or is it Icelandish?

Here's a world map, with Island inside the big blue circle. I modified the map with Paint :) Reykjavík is the capitol of Island. Islandish is as far as I know the language they speak there, unless there is some great conspiration made to fool the rest of the world. ;)

Lol, I forgot that "Island", as the country is called in Sweden, means island in general in English. No wonder you got confused. I guess the language should be called "Icelandish" or something then. How did the merry christmas greetings turn into this discussion? :)

Sorry I have to correct you, but it's actually Icelandic. I think you've been reading uncyclopedia too much. :) The information contained in there is sometimes inaccurate.

In Finnish: Rauhallista joulua ja onnellista uutta vuotta. = Peaceful christmas and happy new year. Yes, there are sentences in Finnish that don't contain ä or ö.
