I'm glad that Ecuador won, but I'm sad that T&T lost, since I want them to advance. Guess I'll have to go against all of you guys from Sweden and hope England and T&T both win their next games by a large enough margin so that T&T can still advance. The only game I care much about tomorrow is Netherlands - Côte d'Ivoire. I've already commented on that, though.

The World Cup is really nice to watch here in Brazil. Almost every job is stopped half an hour before the game, there is no class also.. Everybody sees it, the most common topic isn't "Are you going to watch the match?", but "Where are you going to watch the match?".. On the day and on the day after, almost everybody in schools are wearing the yellow shirt, and talking about the game. That's one of that things you can't die without living it..

Yeah... when Brazil is playing it's a new HOLYDAY! WTF

Sad that Ivory Coast didn't win this game. They truly would have deserved at least one more goal.

Argentina's match was great! 6-0 ^_^ Second goal was just great. I think that Messi - Tevez Will work well. And Saviola played a GREAT match, his action on third goal was just awesome.

Wow, the US somehow tied Italy. Looks like it's up to Ghana to get the job done.

Today, we saw the real Brasil. Outstanding performance by them. Why? No Cafu (he's like 38 or something), no Roberto Carlos (although he is still one of the fastest players, when was the last time you saw him doing a offensive run?), no Ze Roberto, Juninho played instead of him. Brasil certainly does not need two defensive midfielders like Emerson and Ze Roberto and thats why Brasil played a lot better today. Cicinho played 99% flawlessly and Ronaldo sure moved better and scored twice. If he scores once more then he'll be the king of kings. He has so far scored 14 goals in World Cup (obviously counting in every World Cup he has appeared in). Unfortunately, Im pretty sure the Brasilian coach will let both Cafu and Roberto Carlos play in the next game and thats why Brasil wont win this year.

Yeah, Unknow is my favourite too, they have such good goalie Mr. X and John Doe is a solid defender.

Holland - Portugal... wow, by far, the most brutal and exciting game I have ever seen. 4 red cards and a bunch of yellow cards. Unfortunately for the game, this referee had 0% control over the game.

Hmz, to bad the Netherlands lost... I guess Guus Hiddink has to do it now. 16 yellow cards in one match... that has to be some kind of record :P

They said on swedish television that before this last game they were 3 red cards away from a new record for tournament play and now they got 4 new. :) Dont know if the first one that was given in the first half of the game was included in this "3 to go" or if it made it "2 to go". Was acually a very fun game to watch when they behaved like kids.

I think the game wouldn't have escalated if the referee had shown Bouhlarouz the red card in the 8th minute. This is football/soccer and not some kind of martial arts... Furthermore: I can't understand why a highly-paid professional player is not able to behave rationally (e.g. Deco). These are just stupid actions that weaken the own team for the actual and the following game... But well...it was a really entertaining game :)
