The demand part was a joke; I completely agree with you. FODA is doing an incredible job, and he should be given as much time as he needs to perfect his masterpiece. And I demand to see the next WIP.

But Europe sucks when it comes to game and console releases. And good luck with your run FODA.

Ding! Ding! For those who can't wait for FODA's run to be finished, the new Super Mario 64 Speed Run is up on SDA! This should hold you over until FODA is done!

Its a 120-star run single segment. Finishes in a time of 2:09. Pretty damn good speedrun. I'm watching it right now.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but what is the projected time FODA's 120 star run will come in? Happy Birthday SM64 =)

I'm downloading it now, the 70 star was jaw-dropping and I'm hoping this looks as good and daring of a single segment as the 70 star was. Waiting patiently for FODA's next WIP, this SDA run will keep me occupied (plus my own run) for now.

I'm downloading and will watch later on. This guy is really insane for even trying some of the hardest tricks in the TAS, like the vanish in the cap course star. Many congratulations to him. The projected time for the TAS should be sub 1:50

Wow... This guy is superb. Been waiting for this Speedrun for a while, and it's living up to its expectations... Like others said, congratulations to him. This TAS will kill him, though.

Wow. Just wow. The fact that a >2hr. single segment speedrun beats a TAS testrun (that took a long time to make). Speaks volumes for the quality of the speedrun. (but of course, FODA's WIP is great, but you really can't compare the two types of runs...) Although at this point, I am speechless. Dragorn is amazing.

actually it took me a single week to make the testrun, from the moment i picked up the game. but it's not to be compared anyway. he did an amazing, amazing job.

A week is a long time. How many re-records did you take?

how many weeks do you think it took him to make the speedrun? the testrun uses 6500 re-records.

It took him a good 3-6 months, I'd say. Quite a display of determination, I'd say. I'm not sure how many attempts he made either.

You got a mention FODA, and a thank-you. Quite an honour to be considered part of such a great run.
