My nomination has to go to this one [2157] NES Battletoads "game end glitch" by MESHUGGAH in 00:56.94 It broke the game to basically being trashed data thrown on the screen and yet still ends the game.

I nominate Dooty. A hard worker and fast at completing movies while keeping it well polished to be ready for submitting.

I nominate [2242] A2600 Spider-Man by Noxxa in 00:19.62 for being the victor of a long frame war where no further improvements could be made, and [2214] Coleco Jumpman Junior by adelikat in 04:48.58 for it's unexpected speediness and good tech quality. Edit: [2098] Arcade Marvel vs. Capcom "playaround" by SDR in 25:37.70 for it's display of amazing combos and near crashing moments.

Don't know if you're having trouble with route planning or what not, but I decided to make a reference WIP to push you in the right direction as well as another movie from save state to have the flashlight for what comes next. https://www.dropbox.com/s/n1y4ctto096avj7/Reference.fm2 https://www.dropbox.com/s/3kazfhyg4r731qh/DirtyHarryTAS.fm2 This should help you get the right idea here.

If you want to do a 100% or Tails run. I am sure I can help you out. This game has a lot of lag management, so be warned. The Sonic TAS is almost finished, and optimized to the fullest. JWinslow23 I'd recommend being a bit more humble. Everyone should be treated with a little bit of respect.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/w5hq4jheus5fgsi/PinballPartyImprovedV2.vbm The multiball Section has now been added to Casino Night Instead As for the Eggman shots. They were fairly optimized. Given nudging will sometimes be ignored in hopes of avoiding dropping the ball down the hole, and other times it will do a good job. Bumper shots are very frame specific, and require certain situations to launch the right way. Regarding the Metal Sonic stages the loops were just to distinguish a TAS from a real time player. Since it will be more difficult to get loops and skill shots that many times in a row.

Stages 4 and 5 were able to get 15 million points in a single zone thanks to bonus time, so why did it take a second zone in order to finish off stage 2?
With some better luck manipulation I managed to bump it just down to that stage now. Here is the new movie with the improvements added https://www.dropbox.com/s/69kwjc1kc160sh6/PinballPartyImprovedCJ.vbm

It looks like it syncs with the good ROM, but IMO you should edit out the first 125 frames and resubmit.
You (Cooljay) can also fix the file and request replacement.
If I may ask. What is the name of the movie editor for VBA ?

This was definitely easy to watch, I have to agree there is some repetitive parts, but it's very well optimized given the goal choice. Yes vote.

Hey this run isn't pacifist you killed someone that you could ignore on the first stage, and injured a whole bunch of other people in the later stages. No vote for not following goal choice

Why have accepted this speedrun?
It's not a speedrun it's a superplay. It shows Rose and Guy's best combos for this game

This was very well done Dooty. Game looks totally unfair, but you manage to make due with it. Breaking an autoscroll segment by going ahead haha, and some other exploits. Yes vote for this. What bad sprite animations and anticlimactic ending this game has too lol

I have a great deal of respect for Nach, and I feel his decision was fair and true the first time. While entertainment is no longer in factor. This game, like some bad games still doesn't provide much on learning optimization, lag, luck manipulation, route making, or other TASing factors to improve skills. Being rewarded for something that isn't as hard as longer runs to make or doesn't give me much of chance to learn something new. Is a bit too much for me to accept. I have no problems with this movie being rejected at least for optimization or providing no chance to learn new TASing skills.
