Sorry it took so long before I decided to post a WIP. I have other projects you maybe know. Like Toki! Have much work to do with Highness! Anyway, here is finally, a WIP: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3012/FF3%20by%20Diman.smv You probably think this is a better TAS, cause I will not only improve it in time, but also, (hopefully), in entertainment as well! I wrote somewhere in the topic I think, that I'm going to use both the supercombo, and the specialcombo more often... At least I'm going to use the specialcombo more often, that's for sure! ;)

Ok, thanks for the advice, Truncated! I haven't learn how to use TAS movie splicer yet but I will practise every day to figure it out! Maybe you understand it better, Highness?
I will be home at 23:15 or something like that.
Oops! Sorry, I didn't know that you worked so late! Ok we can discuss tommorow then!

Ok. Fun that I discovered a way to handle the program then! =) And some other good news is that I have figured out a way how I can look out for the two spears, which is very aggressive if you don't manipulate them very well!... I will wait with a new post of a WIP cause, I don't want to post short WIP's all of the time... Is better that I try to play longer OR even finish stages!... I like the idea about take every other stage... Do you think it sound nice? Do you want to play the bosses maybe and I finish the rest of the stages? Do you want to play much or little? These are important questions that needs answers.. But you don't have to rush with any answer! Take your time!.. Of course, we can improvise if you suddenly want to play or know a faster route you want to show!.. Edit: I will log in at msn tommorow after the gymnasium. Maybe we can have a talk there about the game! My msn is a little wicked so maybe I won't come in! If I'm not there about 15:00 log in at time 19:00 instead please! =) And my nickname is "Diman" there also! Bravo! Nice perusal again!! You truly deserve the nickname "Highness" cause you truly are the king, your majesty! ;) I will add that to my RAM-watch! Thanks! =) Take care!

Ok! I can add you in my msn address. The address is Majsuggla_@hotmail.com (so you know who is adding ya address (I know the name of the address is crazy! :P). That's ok. You can check it out some other time! ;) Yes, I liked the analysis! And I have good news!! ;) Remember when you told me that the game is a bitch when it comes to hexediting? Well, I have learn how to master one hexediting-program so we can actually get rid of mistakes we do in the movie! =D It did work fine for me at least. The program I have knowledge in is EME (Emulator movie editor) v1.

Nice review of the game my friend! Something tells me that this is going to be terrific! ;) Yes, now when I'm aware of the ducking thing, I always will use that technique to reach the exits faster! And it sounds wise to not miss any shots either, it looks much, much better that way! Why did I miss shots in my run in the end? Cause I did loose it! I did become bitter in other words! I was sad cause I couldn't kill the last boss, like the good way you did! So now, when we divide the work somehow, I suggest YOU kill Membrane, so it looks nice! ;P I have started to make a run! It's not long cause I want your help (if you have any ideas how I can handle the situation). What situation am I talking about then? Well, first everything goes right.. I don't have to stop for any enemies so far... But THEN (before frame 1876) two spears attack me, and I was wondering, if you had any ideas on how I could manipulate this, so I don't have to stop for them... Maybe it isn't possible, but before I continue with the run, I want some feedback from you! ;) How about we take every other (varannan), stage? Things you must know, very important info: * Still use Toki - Going Ape Spit (UE) [c][!].bin rom. * Recorded our TAS, in gens_movie_9Z. Cheers! =) The run: http://www.sendspace.com/file/rfdd4d

I'm surprised too. But I can understand why, since the judges must have much work to do, when new movies almost daily shows up..! I have to live with the fact, that the movie with most yes-votes goes first, and then when it gets many, many yes-votes, it gets published! But I'm glad that you liked it Dromiceius, and I'm also glad that this movie is accepted! =)

Yes AngerFist, but what I meant with that was, when I was done with Toki!... All done!.. But screw that! I don't want any disappointments or missunderstandings here, so I will actually have two projects going on! This and Final fight 3! My two other projects (rockin' kats and super C) can wait! =)

With 6 YESes, I guess the next submission should be automatically accepted by default haha.
Thanks for your enthusiasm over this run xoinx! =) Yes, I did cancel the submission cause it had flaws anyway! ;/ I will start a new TAS with Highness (if he still thinks it's a good idea) and you see the progress here, and I will post a WIP soon!

You should enter initials at the end of the movie so that it reaches the "THE END" screen.
Bummer! I have never watched the credits in Highness movie, so I didn't know anything about the highscore list! That's why I did stop the movie a long time before the credits shows up! Good thing you report this Nitsuja! But I don't have to cancel this one- but I don't know? =/ Maybe I should do a TAS with Highness if he still think that's a good idea! If so, I should cancel this submission, cause the movie wasn't perfect played anyway! I miss the crawling thing to reach the exits a lot of times, and I could improve the boss fight at Membrane also! =/
Stage 8 boss looked like it could have been done faster.
I know. I'm not happy about that either. I will fix that in the next run! =)

Well.. It's stop in the production I think, if not AnS is working with the run, but haven't posted any new WIP's yet... Poor AnS is doing all the work cause I have hard to understand values in the game... You can ask him cause I really don't know! =/ By the way: sorry for the late reply! I have some other projects going on also, which I'm trying to taking care of! That's why I haven't checked out this topic for a while....

No, no! None of you have to apologize! :P In fact I feel stupid, and I should have figured that out myself! I don't know if it just me, or an illusion, but it looked like Toki was pulling his body back as you duck! So it looked like it didn't matter if you walked or crawled! I'm not mad at you guys, I don't care cause, the movie is not perfect anyway as far as I'm concerned! =/ But if you find out timesavers- please let me now! :) I can have a big usage of that info for the next TAS! =)
The movie was good otherwise, I especially liked using the enemies for platforms.
Thanks Truncated! And why not Highness? I would love teamwork to master this almost impossible game!! =) Edit: I discovered that you mentioned the crawling in your submission your Highness! Bah! Why didn't I discover that earlier??! =( It wasn't your fault at all! Well, well!.. The good news at least, is that the movie is finally done! http://tasvideos.org/1350S.html Edit: I did cancel the submission. First I thought it was dumb to cancel it, but then I thought it might be pointless to try to get my submission accepted, when we want to do a new TAS! =/

It does help to duck to reach the goal faster.
Uh oh!! Damn! =O And I thought it didn't matter if you walked or ducked, when you are going to reach a goal! =/ I'm not good to use Ram addresses, so I use a framecounter to see the fastest route, and what I could see it wasn't a difference what so ever... But I belive ya, but why, oh why, do I get this information NOW? :P If I'm doing an improvement of this TAS AFTER this run, I will have a partner (if I can catch one on this site) cause I don't have the power to fix a NEW TAS by myself where I fix the things Truncated was dissatisfied about, cause there's probably more people which has the same opinions!

Ok, thanks for the tip! ;) Ok! Thanks! I'm impressed myself! :P I'm done with level 7!! =) I'm starting to work fast with the TAS cause I want to finish this game now, cause I'm starting to be tired of it! :P Here's a WIP: http://www.sendspace.com/file/i10p5e Stop the movie at frame 62970, exactly when the text "Player 1 stage 7 clear!!" shows up! =) Only two stages left! =D

Edit: I have improved the run at the boss! =) But I let the previous run still be visible... Stop the movie here at frame 52271!! =D http://www.sendspace.com/uploaddone.html?i=22f37a00f701643102c6098aac5cfa1c&l=gdqvzh By the way: Change emulator from gens9j to gens_movie_9Z! See ya!

Congratulations to a successful and brilliant TAS!! =) I am feeling touched and honoured that you put me in the list of special thanks! I would never thought my TASes would be any help, but I guess I am wrong about that! I love when you spinning around it looks beautiful and when you make "X"-patterns with the ship! I also like when you use "options" and shot many enemies! Only thing you can complain about is when you miss a lot of enemies! It would look more nice if you almost never did miss any enemies! Overall perfect movie of course!! How does it feel with your first movie with a star? =D

First of all, I'm very grateful that my final fight 3 movie got published!! Thanks a million!! =D

Good show, although I wish you'd beaten Black with a super. Voted yes.
Thanks for another yes-vote, Dasrik! Unfortunately, you can't. I also wish I could have used a supercombo at Black, but.. You must grab your opponent to make a super, but Black refuse to be beaten in that way! :P As a matter of fact, I was thinking to beat every boss by a super at the end, but... You can't kill every boss in that way because of Black, and that's to bad! =(
"No damage" is specified. It seems like it should be "Takes damage to save time": "No damage taken except from the supercombo which takes a little from your health" At least, I would feel that taking damage, even if it's from using a super attack, is still taking damage... But then again, opinions differ.
I am also confused what you should call it! =S I don't know why it says: "Takes no damage"? I would say: "take damage for entertainment". Why? Cause I don't think you save time to use the super, cause the dash attack is faster... And to claim that I "take no damage" is a lie! So.. "Take damage for entertainment" is best in my opinion! =)

Hehe! Man, you got the same taste of games as I have! Unfortunately the "skip-Bug" you used (I called it "warp"-glitch) is not allowed, and Bisqwit wrote that in my topic and he thinked it sounded like a debug feature, and not a glitch. The strange thing is that I had more negative comments than you (I think so) even though I was faster, but...On the other hand, your run is maybe more fun than mine, and that is much more important. I haven't looked at my run in a long, long while, but I looked at your run, and it was good! Good luck if you want to do a full run of this game! If ya don't want to do it, let me know so I can do it, (it will be a project futher in the future).

Cheat-keys and debugging codes are not allowed Such as Konami's up+up+down+down+etc sequence. If the key sequence is mentioned in the manual as a normal means of playing, it is (usually) allowed. This rule is not strict, but its motive is the same as in the guideline that says you should play at the hardest difficulty.

Yo man! Well.. I've been working on this *bitchin'* game very much, and I have discovered ways, on how I can save time at some places at level 4. ; ) Ignore what I wrote on my previous message, cause I will post a WIP when I fix Eyesore instead! ;)
