sirstarmagic, everyone here is a bit concerned that the run isn't up to scratch. The reason nobody is voting Yes is because the run genuinely doesn't improve on the previous SUper Mario Bros. runs.
While I haven't had a good history of published TAS's myself, I do recommend reading the sites various guides, and perhaps even mingling with the community a bit more.
And with this comes a question, how willing would you be to use the sites IRC channel? The channel will give you live discussion with some of the sites most active (and mentally destructive) members.

Or we could hack apart the game that needs TASing to find the codes needed to unlock the game.
What better way to pirate something then to feed it the code it very much asks.

X2poet, I think you've taken this way out of proportion here. Just because it's considered doesn't mean it will be accepted. It just means that it'll be thought over on a case-by-case basis.
I am aware I'm not a staff member anymore, but this fact is obvious enough to make it necessary be known, and I am certain that this is how it will operate in the foreseeable future, assuming I understand DarkKobold right.
