Oh, sorry. It's just that I would be mad if someone voted that way.

Hum, I'm gonna watch this run tonight. Hope the emulator won't turn mad during movie play, or I'll have to vote no :]
You don't vote no just because you can't play it.

I have started a timeattack of this game as a side project to my ff2 run. This run should be very easy. Now, about the game. Recca is a shooter originally made for a tournament in Japan (Summer Carnival of 1992). It is incredibly fast, almost too fast for a human eye. It's probably the best shooter for nes ever made, at least by my opinion. I already made some progress, you can see it here: http://free-zd.htnet.hr/crocop/reccawip.zip (Rom used: Summer_Carnival_'92_-_Recca_(J).nes)

A little update. I got to Salamand in 38 min. By the current looks, the timeattack will be long about 3 hours, it is a BIG game. Tell me what you think of the progress. http://free-zd.htnet.hr/crocop/ff2dos.rar EDIT: Oh, and if someone knows how to beat boss seargent fast, please tell me beacuse i lost about 4 minutes fighting him.

I tried to test the emulator on windows 95. It required a few dlls and then it got an error message. Something related to KERNEL32.dll. Any way to fix it?

Am I the only one using Opera here?

This is what I was waiting for. Not the OmnipotentEntity's movie. A real timeattack. Voting yes.

I tested it on ff2 but it doesn't work. But you can manipulate to fight less enemies per battle this way.
Maybe I can. But it would be great to avoid every battle I encounter.

Hmm... Then I'll try that.
It sure doesn't work for me. Could you explain it a bit more? Since it is ff2, the trick should work for it too.

Wow. Can you tell me how did you avoid random battles? It would be much help for my timeattack.

This strategy really works. I can get to Scott's ring and get back in 8 minutes with bare hands. But if I only knew how to avoid random battles, I could make it in 5 minutes then. Here's the new one

I haven't watched your video, but keep in mind two things: 1. Aside from the Blood Sword, your bare hands are probably your strongest weapon ever.
Really? I read somewhere that to make a strong party, you should equip Firion with swords, that girl with spears, Guy with Axes, and the last guy with swords.
2. Abuse the levelling system. A lot.
Any advice how to do that?

Two day ago I decided to take a timeattack at Final Fantasy 2 remake. I am currently planning how to beat game fastly. Also I will first record a "stupid" movie, which only shows how to beat game, and then the real timeattack. If you know any information that may help, please post. I don't know nothing of this game and I never beated it. Current progress of the "stupid" movie is in Bafsk in 34 minutes. This should be twice smaller, I guess. http://free-zd.htnet.hr/crocop/dawnofsouls.zip (It is recorded with this VBA(from forums), and the rom is Final Fantasy I & II - Dawn of Souls (U).

If you can't find the movie, then you can't find the rom either. Just my opinion.
